How far out does the laser shoot across the surface

I purchased one of these and I guess it's pretty much useless if you have a lot of paneling rather than drywall.

thanks for your video, but I ended using a crystal clear hose with water. Man, my mind was blown off with the accuracy and simplest tool of all time a transparent hose !! you can't go cheaper than that !! Best regards !!

Thanks for a great video. Have you dealt with the BDL170? the auto leveling version bullseye... but it doesn't have the bubbles. You have to go on faith that the laser is level?

I’m certain this isn’t a stupid piece, pffft. It puts a level line on a wall pretty simple and not worth bitching about. The question I would have for you is if the drywall nail could be stuck in what would be the first screw hole and the laser used for the opposing screw hole. If that would work then negative nelly down there wouldn’t have had to return the item.

I have to put a hole in my wall to use this? Returning it tonight. Only a couple of feet? pfft. Returning. Not wasting money on this junk. I'll be using a normal level and buying a REAL laser level with actual range and magnetic stick.
