I bought one amazon.. i really like it ...less mess...cooks fast..iam a wings guy a must have..no more frozen fries for me..cutt up a potato throw it in.. so nice

For the fries you can just set the full 25 min and at any point during the cooking just take out the basket and shake/stir then put back in and it continues. This way you don't limit yourself to one stirring in the middle, but do it 2-3 times for a more even cooking.

Another great review! Yeah, you have to turn midway I've found, no matter what you're cooking in an air fryer. Everything you touch turns to gold, basically. Thanks so much! I did get a small Philips based on your reco - very pleased. I also picked up a NuWave Brio Air Fryer which has a similar basket to the Philips. performs the same, or maybe better. A little au de plastique, haha, hoping it will subside. It's the one they sell at BB&B for $99 - check it out, really nice unit.

I am looking for this air fryer in a local store (Falabella, in Latin America), but I noticed that they have this model twice (on their website). One's price is around 113 USD, but the other is just 71 dollars. the model and the specifications are the same, the only difference is that one is made in USA and the other in China. I'm using the B&D for the first time tonight, and I do smell the plasticky odor. Will this go away as it gets used often or is this gonna be this way forever? Does the taste of the food also gets the plasticky taste? Curious to know. Thanks.

Hi, the plasticky odor is normal with many air fryers. It should go away after one or two uses. The food does not taste plasticky :)
