Does anyone know if I should get the 7 row or 9 row denman brush? My goal is to get amazing curl definition and to dentangle with the brush, I know the Denman brushes are known for absolutely breathtaking shrinkage and definition but I don't know what's best for my hair type. I've heard they're not the best for detangling so I might also pick up a tangle teezer but this brush seems to do it all. I have 2c 3a/b low porosity curls. I'm currently transitioning to healthier hair as there is a bit of bleach damage at the ends and the slightest amount of heat damage. My hair is on the thicker side but it's not coarse or coily.

Id recommend the 9 row you could always modifiy it to your liking. The denman brush is not to detangle at allll it pulls on the hair and causes breakage and girl it hurts lol. I recommend tangle teaser like you said or wet brush those are to detangle. I have 3a/3b/3c but mostly 3b and when i use the brusb I get very defined curls mostly 3b/3c....I love it for styling.

@@monicafabiola785 Hello! I am also looking at the Denam D3 ORIGINAL STYLER 7 ROW & D4 row 9 all black.. Not for detangling but styling only. If you are already detangled and ready to start styling does denman brush also pull on the hair and cause breakage?

You need to do smaller sections with your hair. Your sections are way too big!

The D5 is more for blow drying and lose/wavy hair. It's blows your hair out quickly it's great!. Your hair is Styled quickly. For tighter curls or coily, hair 3a-4 hair D31, D3 and D41 is fine as well as you can see for separating tangles etc on beautiful coils. Those didn't work for me as I didn't know what I needed then, Well the D41 I kept. I did trial and error(I know them all now lol)..
