"FAKE" Denman (Daiso) VS REAL Denman Brush

Some points:
- The brush I am referring to as FAKE in this video is a product of Daiso Japan (a Japanese dollar store) and in no way claims to be a Denman brush, it is just a brush they sell that is very similar in appearance and function to the Denman Brush. Referring to it as fake is merely a term I use in reference and does not speak on the true character of this brush or its company! :)
- I have heard that similar brushes that resemble the Denman brush are sold in other dollar stores as well. I have never tried them but I can say if the main idea of functionality and design is akin to the Denman brush, I would probably recommend trying it as well. :)
-Updated 11/2020: I have no idea why my video says this is a Paid Promotion. I never received any form of payment for this video, I'm currently not receiving any form of payment for this video, and I bought both brushes with my student loans so... shrug

When they say "don't put harsh detergents on the denman brush" they mean like hair bleach , developer toner or hair dye.

so glad someone made this video! even if the sections were the same size, the density of our hair is always thicker in the back anyway, so that could've been why there was more shedding in the back too. ijs, i'd rather grab a couple extras on the fake, even tho they are stiffer, and if your hair is brittle, it's going to snap it more .. so do you

I think that the denman brush in general is for styling not for detangling as it is sometimes very harsh and may harm the hair i dont know if that’s wrong but for detangling there is the tangle teezer or the wet brush maybe..

To move the rubber easier it has to be wet

Denman also have a brush cleaner brush to make cleaning your brushes easy. I think it is the DB01, from memory. You will know it when you see it. I bought a cleaner brush when I ordered my Denman D5.

Haven’t found something better but I’ll tell you the Denman brushes are heavy and well made and fancier than the ones at Daizo the only problem with the cheap ones is that the brush falls apart easily when brushing depending the movement but it’s only seconds to put it back in place

Thank you for this video! When I was a kid my mother made me had an afro, but I always wanted either curly lond or straight. Two weeks ago I started experimenting with the cgm and for the first time my hair is frizz free enough to go out with my hair down! I am thinking of buying a Denman Brush but I wasn't sure if I should splash out on the original more expensive one or a cheaper version! Your hair looks lovely BTW.

Hey Wendy, it's a detangling shampoo. I don't use this shampoo anymore at all, but it was meant to aid in detangling. Thanks for watching!!

Hey Pretty In Pink! :) I found a shampoo and conditioner that left my hair feeling better after using (The JOICO K-PAK shampoo & conditioner to repair damage). I found the big sizees at Ross for 16.99 so it was also more affordable for me too. Also my hair was not relaxed at all in this video

Wendy B With detangling shampoos like creme of nature argan oil shampoo or kera care detangling shampoo, you can comb it through because the ingredients in them are so slippery and make the comb glide through😄

this was really helpful!! 😊😊 it looked like the official denman defined just a tad bit more, and since i have a very fine hair texture with a 3a/b pattern my hair is a bit prone to breakage.. so i think it'll be worth it to invest in the official brush.. 🙂
