I use Core: Metal Temper to alleviate gaps in protection PvE. Since I use Fire: Blaze at the end/to loop at the end for filler, it doesn't need the protection. I don't use the Rabams in awake as they are low crit rate and we want to maintain the Generative passive at all times in PvE. You should be in awakened 99% of the time, outside of using S+F for movement.

I would still use either depending on clear speed. The latter is more safe without CD issues and maintaining the generative passive summon AoE damage at all times.
