Renting the Adventures seals at: Velia (20 Contribution points) gives you 1 armor stone daily (Click the seal in inventory and hand it back to the dude) Heidel (40 Contribution points) gives you 1 weapon stone daily (Click the seal in inventory and hand it back to the dude) Calpheon (100 Contribution points) gives you 1 armor + 1 weapon stone daily (Click the seal in inventory and hand it back to the dude) You can only do one of these per day, so make your choice on what you need. You can find the NPCs as either the storage NPC or "leader" of the town.

Almost 300 hours played and I'm finally almost level 50, this really made things more clear for me. Guess I'll have to start doing something besides fishing lol. Even WoW didn't get me this hooked back when it was actually worth playing, some people talk about getting burnt out already but I can't see myself stopping even after thousands of hours.

the last patch changed the drop rates for Blackstones so now all mobs can drop them and more frequently in order to prepare for the next map reveal witch will allow you to enchant to +20

Probably worth noting that the "Elite" monsters that you can find amongst normal mobs have a very high chance of dropping stones. I normally find one or 2 of them (or rather my hawk does for me) while out grinding and almost without fail I end up with 1 or 2 blackstones for each killed.

Node investment doesn't effect Blackstone drop rates. NPC type + Luck + kills/hr effect the Blackstone drop rate.

+HimerosTeviot node investment increases all item drop rates by 5% per level, the same as luck does - this is well known and easily available knowledge. You are correct about the mob type though, much higher drop rates for black stones off human/demihuman mobs. Just keep in mind that is overall, so if for example you have a 0.1% chance of a stone dropping then 5 luck and a level 5 node will only increase that chance to 0.15%

Negative. There's been some thorough testing in the past couple weeks on the NA servers definitively showing that node investment does *NOT* influence Blackstone drop rates. Gemstones and everything else, yes.

If i look up any guides about wapons or armor to use, i always find that liverto and grunil is the way most people go, but because liverto is so expensive and grunil isnt in the game, im not sure if i should use my blackstones to get my yuria wapon/my armor to +15 or if i should stack up blackstones and wait for the new content to arrive.

I got about 10 armor stones from monastery with in about an hour or so. They also drop some weapon stones too. I would suggest buying underwear from the pearl shop. Silly I know, but it gives you +1 luck. Hope this helps y'all out :)

Another good video :) Investing energy in nodes does not increase stone drop rate - its just rng and the 'perception' that its better. You did forget that stones can be crafted at a Refinery (level 2 for armour and level 3 for armour and weapons) - the mats needed might seem a bit high , but carebears should find it inexpensive (one of the daily gathering quests is for 50 rough stones so doesnt take long to get a couple k black powder)

what about grinding them with a alt? im only lvl 30 so far but i can get a lot of those just by killing the "mini bosses" and their minions. might be not the most exiting thing ever but if you really need that much of them i would consider it since you dont need to run across the entire map and even make some money AND lvl the alt you recomended

I know jewellery does but that's a bit different from weapons and armour, and I know about it losing durability and having to build it back up using another version of the same piece, but what happens if the gear gets to 0 durability? or is there a bottom limit?

I'm surprised you did not mention the daily quest you can do in a few cities for contrib points, you get a black stone every day for that and you get your contrib points refunded to you.

+Ooxaz I think this is only viable for non-crafters and such though or if you can spare the time, since it is a rather hefty amount; 20 points required for Armor (By talking to Chief Igor Bartali in Velia), 60 for Weapon (Jordine in Heidel), and 100 for one of both (Basquean Ljurik in Calpheon). Granted, you can turn in the item back for your points, but reinvesting all of those points is most likely a lengthy process.

Pvt Wiggles, I destroyed my Ultimate Basteer staff yesterday as I received my Ultimate Styd. I did not know I couldnt enhance the Styd so now I am after another Ult Basteer staff. According to forums I should have a "missing basteer" option on my black spirit but it is not there. Is there any way I can get my Ult Basteer staff back without hoping someone ends up selling one on market?

Bigger issue is getting gear on marketplace to repair your gear after enchanting :D A lot of armor dissapears the moment it's put on market :( And one piece only repairs 10 points, wtf..

Anthony Campoverde Weapon is easy. In my case i'm talking about Heve armor/helmet/gloves. Yeasterday spent like an hour refreshing marketplace for armor, since durability reached 20/100 and still didn't get it :) I guess someone with better latency just gets ahead. And i would need 8 of these armors to fix to max durability :DDD
