Listened to all the bands at the Nationals and for me this was by far the winning performance. The audience reaction was the only reason Flowers got the result....sorry but that's only my opinion.

Great performance, if you ignore the inconsistent soloists, ensemble issues, and intonation issues... Audience reaction was the only reason? Get a grip man

@@ColinHorsfield-l3w to be fair I heard all 20 as well and had flowers clear winners from Fodens. After Dyke had played I commented to my wife that they had left the door wide open for others. As for the audience reaction having any influence, erm no. They got the reaction as they were good, really good.

Think he / she must be a supporter of these. World class band they are but they were not the best and somehow got 3rd. If I had been sat in the hall all day without a slash break I would have recordered more than 1 performance could have made a few quid on the ‘tube
