11/13/23: Your beans came out looking WONDERFUL and yummy and I can't wait to try it. In fact, I've got my smoked neck bones simmering right now and my beans soaking, so I'm ready for the next step. Your cooking area is just as clean as my mothers was. If you walked into her kitchen, you weren't able to tell what she was cooking cause she kept it all so very clean as she cooked. I miss her.

Miss my mother too. My dad always cooked black-eyed peas with neck bones. That was his favorite dish I believe. Miss him too.
