Remember there are regions of the south where it varies like Gullah, New Orleans. What you see above is classic soul food. My Southern Grandmother cooked like this. My Bahamian Grandmother cooked like Gullahs. Us half breeds who love both cook it alllll. Tell me, how do Black Canadians descended from slave runaways cook? Hardly ever hear about them.

Reminds me of my upbringing and training in our family ( Black Own) restaurant. I started cooking at age 12. Iam 63 years and I still cook this way. I make healthy versions when requested for those with specific medical conditions.My parents were both from Georgia and all the recipes were from the South in Savannah/ Sylvania Georgia region😛😜Yummy.💙💙💙.I admire this family the food looks delicious!!!May God continue bless to your family with Love, and Abundant Prosperity in your business and family bond!

OMG.. that's such incredible looking food.. My grandmother, mom's side was raided in Kentucky, and I grew up on a lot of these dishes.. I still do my best to continue those family recipes..
