ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: kzbin.info... Picturesque Black Forest. A driving tour of the northern part of the Black Forest in southern Germany. Our base is in Durbach close to Offenburg and we visit the attractive medieval towns of Gengenbach, Altensteig, Calw, Haslach, Wolfach and Schiltach. Also a day in the French city of Strasbourg.

I was lucky enough to spend 4 months living in the area in 1998 autumn up to Christmas. Iam taking my two daughters here on 13th of December for 5 days to take in the various Christmas markets including Freiburg and Strasbourg. I loved you video very informative. Germany is a fantastic place to visit. I worked over there for 3 years in total and always love going back.

Incredibly lovely and charming towns. Love the beautiful artwork and colors and flower strewn half-timbered houses, rivers running like ribbons through the streets; medieval castles, hilltop vineyards, towers, and churches. The Sandstone Cathedral is breathtaking.

Very nice film. The people of black forest/Baden (Germany), Straßburg/Elsaß (France) and Basel (Switzerland) and as well their buildings and architecture,their citchen/wine culture,the Carneval/Religion and landscapes are the same tribe: they are all called "Alemannen",speak the same language in all three countries or regions.("Alemannisch"=Swiss German) They all border the river of Rhine and feel often more close to themselves than to their countries.😊 Its a funny speciality in Europe.Perhaps.
