BLACK FRIEZA NOT EVIL!?

Freeza recently returned to Dragon Ball Super in the last act of the Granolah arc. During his appearance, not only did Freeza show off his latest transformation BLACK FRIEZA or BLACK FREEZA - Black Freeza actually killed the main villain of the arc effortlessly.
Black Frieza vs Gas ended up being one of the goriest endings to a Dragon Ball fight in all of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super and even Dragon Ball Z.
After Black Freeza vs Gas, Black Frieza vs Goku & Vegeta took place.
This led many fans to suspect that Black Freeza is the new villain.

For some logic reasons it doesn’t get so simple as that Either way if frieza were to go back to doing his evil things again it would just be portray just like the Majin vegeta saga and goku would just try to do all he can to bring all the redemption inside frieza and turn him into a relevant fighter to the universe 7 He’s slowly starting to become the new vegeta I don’t think it’s a good idea to kill frieza just yet and just he got revived by whis so it’s only fear enough he needs his reward

My hypothesis is that Frieza will stick around for a bit maybe even a mini "redemption" arc like you said with him becoming a pseudo-destroyer, but with the pure sadism that is Frieza I think he'll take his role too far, anger Vegeta in the process, and be the first real victim of Vegeta's hakai, giving a real sense of death to frieza, letting vegeta obtain destroyer godhood, and maybe even let vegeta get the W for the arc. Also in classic dragonball fashion, 2 or so more arcs after his "Permanent Erasure" from the universe, some super dragon ball wishing deus ex machina is going to return Frieza, maybe even attached with some "I was sent to a strange reality of newfound powers after being hakai'd, a realm beyond the control of those imp childen(Zeno)- - -" so goku has some more godly otherworld people to beat up

I do agreed that Frieza isn't the next villain to a degree. I still stand by my idea of the Triple Ts (Toriyama, Toyotaro, and Toei) saving Frieza as the final villain for the DBS Anime/Movie/Manga. Because yeah you don't just bring Frieza back twice and give him two new "forms" for nothing, and he most likely has a plan we just don't know what it is. My guess it has something to do with the God hierarchy. 🤔

i prefer stay with my 1989 Frieza/Freeza/Freezer: basically space Hitler. Super is just a giant useless thing as it was GT back in the day and i'll never consider it. I prefer what i loved and still love, and grew up with. Super is done just for new generations and if is ok for them, cool... but not my cup of tea. And i consider Freeza, with Joker and Pennywise, my fav characters of all time ever. Love seen him again and again, but it wasn't necessary. He died in pieces by Future Trunks. End of the story. His venom survived in Cell, and was good enough as reminder that he was, always, the cancer of the universe. THE villain. Just my 2 cent.

I can't see why they would introduce Black Frieza without him being the next big fight. I feel like Goku & Vegeta can't just ignore Frieza being out there able to 1 shot them. They're gonna investigate it etc. and seek a way to get stronger than him. I can't imagine them doing anything else. But also I'm like "Frieza again??" This is the 3rd major arc for Frieza 🤦‍♂️ I think it's time to either visit Universe 6, see what those universes that were too powerful for the TOP are like or introduce an evil angel like some fan manga do.

I Frieza is somewhat a setup to introduce a further Villain, it would make sence for it to be Cooler. Even in DBZ Cooler was potraed stronger than Frieza, here could it be the case that Cooler has trained for his entire life (he wouldn't have as much potentiap as Frieza) but that would make him stronger and explain why we never saw him. I think Cooler could meet Frieza before Frieza goes to the time chamber or he even tells him to train there. And it could be that after this 10 years with Cooler he will stop being an antihero. Another possibility is that Frieza meets Cooler after being resurected in RoF and Cooler tells him to train. And then it could be that Frieza is only acting as an Antihero. But I have no Idea what Coolers great plan will be, maybe standing over Zeno and Cooler actually gave Frieza this Idea.

Unpopular opinion: I'm very bored with Frieza as a Villain. If he were to gather the dragonballs and revive Cooler / King Cold for nefarious purposes, I would be hyped. But let's not hope for anything other than new shiny colors.

I don’t buy Frieza remaining alive. Vegeta’s concern has always been Frieza growing powerful enough to surpass them which comes true via black Frieza. This time, I definitely see him getting erased after getting his final arc. Frieza will never be an anti villain. He’s way too twisted but I do see the for of destruction title as an interesting route for him. I want to see him awaken god ki.

Black Freeza is on a another level. I never understood why people want the next Saga to involve him and taking the fight to him right now. The guy was literally training in a time chamber for 10 years. For Goku and Vegeta to reach that level and defeat him would be underwhelming imo.

I love Freeza, but I don't see him as an anti-hero. I mean he's still a self serving murderous bastard after all, but a likable bastard nonetheless. I think Freeza has kinda just moved on from wanting revenge on Goku, and Vegeta, and is more focused on rebuilding his empire. I don't think Freeza will ever directly go after his two favorite Saiyans again. Instead he's more likely to send another villain their way to entertain himself. Basically he seems to enjoy trolling the crap out of them, but I think in Freeza's mind its all a big game with those two. Freeza seems to be enjoying the game, which is why he won't kill them, at least not with his own two hands. It's like Batman, and the Joker. The Joker doesn't seem to want to kill Batman because he is just so much fun to play with. I think it is a similar dichotomy to how Freeza has come to see Goku, and Vegeta. Basically for him those two are just too much fun to kill. It's a demented sort of respect Freeza gained for them during the Tournament of Power I feel. P.S. I just cannot bring myself to spell Freeza with an I. 😅 However Freeza is a great character! Unapologetically evil but unlike most Dragonball villains he has a lot of layers that make him almost lovably evil. 😂

I think, there’s a good chance we’ll see a Cooler reboot, but that Cooler will have been a neglected brother of Freeza due to being weak. (To explain why nobody has mentioned him or sensed him until now) - Only I feel he’ll now become prominent through just incredibly hard training & as an urge to get back at his brother and father, but with intent to be the emperor himself, so also wanting to kill Saiyans etc. As for Kuriza, I always saw him more as a gag character - so I doubt he’ll show up, but maybe if Uub, Pan, Bulla, Goten & Trunks get their own show sometime in future - …maybe then!

@@ayonhussainforever9390 Well I’m suggesting that the reboot Cooler would be stronger than Freeza NOW after training, if you get what I mean. But was born weaker. It would be the only way to make sense of the fact he hadn’t been mentioned up to now, and why if he was stronger than Freeza, King Cold didn’t give his empire to Cooler. There’s gotta be some sense. For instance Broly worked because they abandoned them on Vampa when Vegeta was destroyed and Broly’s ki was being controlled by Paragus so they were just never detected.

If you ever think that Akira Toriyama would do the old Dragon Ball Cliche of having a badguy to change for good like the names that you've mentioned. Thats WRONG AGAIN! Having that for 1 or 2 guys is enough but if you have that same cliche to almost all the antagonists, its being so REPETITIVE And PREDICTABLE. Not good for story in general! Thats a VERY LAZY IDEA. Better have another Antagonist. DB has gone MULTIVERSAL frok being Universal. So its better to have some Villains that would emerge from different part of the Multiverse than recycling an old villain that should have been dead for so long!
