When you live in Korea and there’s no black salons around u. you will go to the Korean salon especially if you get tired of doing it on hair and give up with 4c hair And when I live in America I went to actually a Dominican salon

I went to a salon by black women here in Denmark since it had good reviews for extensions, but I clearly wasn’t welcome. Instead of turning me away, she fried my hair, was incredibly rude, talking only in their own language to each other about me, and pulling my hair so much my scalp was on fire when I left. I’m very sensitive and polite and actually a bit scared to be to confrontational so I paid. I’m sure I’m gonna get hate for this, but my point is, being inconsiderate goes both ways, and as a professional you should learn about and welcome all races. That or be specific about your skills. I came in looking to support her business and her. Really sad experience.

This is not always true. Plenty of Asian people will happily go to a black barber and white people go to black barbers all the time. Just my pov and what I see.

Personally, this is why I don’t let anyone who is non-black do my hair because of this. And I don’t want to sound rude but it is true. Because most of these videos it ends up a fail Due to them don’t know about kinky curly hair which is Black African-American and I’m not talking about loose curly coarse hair I’m talking about kinky 4C. I dont like videos like these, if you are going to visit a salon that isnt used to doing blk hair pls stop making those faces and laughing at them. Its a teachable moment between the two of you. Remember they didnt have to accept to do your hair bit they did. Its either you teach them or you walk out. I am reading the comments and very much annoyed. When i was in hair school we had blk women come through and would give the students attitude and me being a blk woman felt really sorry for them because atleast they were willing to learn. Hair gets damaged but it grows back. Its nog thay serious. I have seen too many videos like these and I dont like them. Pls again if you are going to a place where they are not used to doing blk hair, call them in advance and give them atleast a chance to do research before you arrive for your appointment
