That being said, I think there are many polyglots with good personalities. Moses was a great guy, one of the OGs.

This guy just popped up out of nowhere, but I'm so glad he did! Wow! This is no disrespect to anyone else, but so far, he seems to be one of the most authentic polyglots I've seen on KZbin. Even though the only language he spoke which I can speak is Spanish (which was nearly flawless), I could tell he had a high level of speaking confidence and his accent seemed pretty accurate in all the other languages. I feel super inspired and motivated with my own language studies now! Right now, I only speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and I'm learning Chinese and Greek. I hope to one day be close to this guy's level. Some of the other people I've seen on KZbin have a very strong accent when speaking other languages that is obvious to me even if I don't speak that language, or they make a lot of "ummm, uhhh" sounds, which usually indicate a lack of confidence in the language.
@Vinterfrid2 жыл бұрын
As a Swede I have to say his Swedish was far from flawless - his Swedish is understandable but that's about it. But, since he's lived in Sweden for just a short time one wouldn't expect more. The other footballer had a far better level of Swedish, but also far from flawless. With that being said, practise make perfect (well, sort of).

Goluremi, people like you are an ABSOLUTE inspiration. A lot of times when one gets bogged down with the curve balls that life has thrown at them, it takes someone with the catalogue of achievements that you do and the honest, almost child-like verve and enthusiasm for life to kickstart the dormant spirit that resides within us all, and pick up the pieces and face life head on. Thank you for reminding me, that life, with all the cracks, crevices and flaws, is still worth living, and living FULLY, no matter how much water has passed under the bridge. @Sarah-lb8cs2 жыл бұрын
I literally can’t even comprehend how someone learns and speaks multiple languages! Blows my mind. As an American, I’ve never felt more inadequate than when I went to Paris. Basically everyone speaks at least 2 languages and many people I met spoke multiple. I suppose we don’t learn different languages because America is so large and we all speak English. They require (usually Spanish) in high school but for some reason we don’t REALLY learn to speak it. Learn enough to past a test and then it’s like…poof….right out of your head. overseas the countries are smaller and condensed so maybe that’s why it’s just normal to learn more than one language. Just speculating. Nonetheless, it’s extremely impressive and admirable!
@jssapo3032 жыл бұрын
I'm British and I know how you feel, whenever I head to mainland Europe we're like the only Europeans who speak only one language even though we're right next to France/Belgium/Netherlands. Belgian & Swiss people were the most impressive I met, 3 languages was literally the standard.

@@jssapo303 Exactly! I’m just amazed by it and extremely impressed. IMO we are not as cultured, it seems, as our fellow human beings overseas. I think if you held the mic several inches away like you do with the person you are speaking with, your volume level will be more consistent. The audio quality in itself is superb though!
