That 'fish and chip' New Yorker is exactly like those Londoners you interviewed. I'm from London, and I assure you, those lads have never left their borough let alone ventured outside of London. New York is an amazing and unique place. London is too but they are very different. London is steeped in History. Its a magical place, and ironically, has some of the best restaurants in the world.I can't quite describe just how impactful London is. You just have to visit. It lives and breathes. You can hear the echoes of the past as you walk around. You can walk down a unspectacular alleyway and I guarantee there will be a blue plaque showing how something amazing happened there in the past. You will never fully explore London. I disagree with the diversity part. Its not even close. There are over 600 spoken languages in NY while only around 200 in London. NY is the most diverse place in the entire world and its why i personally would consider it the best city in the world. Its the one thing that no one can argue against unlike other things. Things like food, people, weather, cost of living, government and all of those other things can be argued for other cities but diversity is one thing that cannot be argued. No other city has more spoken languages than NYC. This is just my opinion.

@Aless British Diversity is highlighted as an issue in UK by closet-racists only when it's a non-white person (usually black) doing something bad. It's conveniently not brought up when it comes to blacks a being a big part of medical field, being care workers, scoring for the England football team, foods /restaurants eastern European construction workers etc. If white Brits are involved in p€dophillia, child grooming, pub fights, football hooliganism etc.. they're judged as INDIVIDUALS, when non-whites do it they're judged as a GROUP.
