This was the interview that made me decide to go into cybersecurity. I completed flight school and got my commercial pilot's license a while ago, but could no longer use it after getting in a car crash and no longer retain a Medical Certificate required for pilots. I wanted to help people, but was lost. I was inspired by this, along with growing frustration after someone close to me got hacked and lost very important things to them. I graduated a month ago with my degree in cybersecurity, and just got a job offer as a pen-tester today for my government. Thank you Gummo.

I love how immersed you can get into the academic side of it, you get to earn certs, you build a portfolio, you learn some coding I mean its self learning too which I enjoy & then at the end of this 1 year journey you get that great job. I Was not inspired by Gummo even though I like him as a changed individual I was motivated by the desire to never ever again have any financial hardships both for myself and my family. Sometimes we forget like you said all of us share one core thing we come into this world with a good heart. Somehow we lose sight of that. I don't think anyone wants to see or hear about suffering of another person. I think at the end of the day there is good in all of us and if we could just practice finding that good and spreading it the world would be a better place. It's so nice to see and hear someone who still believes better will prevail. If we all could just treat each other as we want to be treated. If you're interested, look into pretty much anything tech related you can think of followed by "security" and there's a podcast, blog post or something detailing what you need. If not today, then in the future, there's gonna be enough specialization that you can find a way in. You wanna do physical pen testing? Lockpicking might be a way in, or social engineering.
