I've tried the tarnished foil technique and can't wait to try this. Your videos are very precise and well done.

I would use a pair of tweezers to pick up and hold the cardstock and spoon up the embossing ink onto the card to help eliminate the possibility of leaving fingerprints. Beautiful technique. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful technique, & a very good tutorial! I was wondering, though, how you kept the panels from sliding all over creation when you were heating the clear embossing powder? Also, if I understand properly, the "ice" part is the clear heat embossing, just kind of like "beads" on the cardstock? Thanks so much for sharing! I'll have to try and remember to give this a try. :)

Thanks Andrea! I used a bit of temporary adhesive behind each panel to hold them down while doing the black streaks. They will stay in place while heat embossing too. You are correct about the "ice" part. When it comes out exactly as I most love it, you will see little tiny beads of "ice" in lines, some continuous and some broken, on your foil card stock. It comes out different every time but this is the signature look that determined the technique name. I hope you'll try it and have a blast playing!

How did you do the moon on lovely as a tree card? Did you mask a circle before you did anything?

It's hard to see, but I think it's a punched circle of glitter paper. xxDina
