After six pints of Stella, I'd strut out onto the dance floor when this came on, in my Miami Vice fashion, and do this. It made perfect sense then. The hangover the next day and the sniggers of 'friends' who'd seen me were simply not fair. Excellent days.

You can't hate these when you actually realise Alan Barton was a really talented singer and guitarist in Smokie after he left Black Lace. It just shows Black Lace loved being a novelty party act. They never pretended to be something they were not.

Steve Wright hosted this edition of TOTP. 13th December 1984 I believe. Music was brilliant in the 80s, better than today's songs, definitely. Shocking that Steve has gone. Can't believe it. RIP Steve Wright 💔

I’d take this over the majority of shit that they try to pass off as music these days. And 100% I’d take this over Baby Shark or Crazy Frog any day of the week. Agadoo gives me happy memories of the late night pool parties we had in 1984 in Lloret de Mar Spain.

@D H Television: Because we had weird charts too, I mean Joe Dolce's "Shuddup a ya Face" kept Ultravox's "Vienna" off the number 1 spot for weeks. At least we had a sense of humour in the 1980's, as cringeworthy as this song is and annoying too - its better than the crap that passes for music today.
