Black Lady S.H.Figuarts Review & My Figuarts Display | Sailor Moon Review ~ セーラームーン

This is my review of the Black Lady S.H.Figuarts figure by Tamashii Nations. Make sure you have an official figure!
I bought mine with Amazon. I retail around 53$. The best place to find one would be on Amazon, CircleRed.com, or from personal sellers on eBay but look out for bootlegs!!! Please support the official release of these figures by buying an official one.

Love the display and storage ideas! I didn't even know that there was a disguised Zoisite Figuarts, but I'm guessing that may have been an exclusive or something? Are you planning to get the new Super versions when they come out? Definitely got the Super Sailor Mercury pre-ordered since her Aqua Rhapsody harp looks awesome in the prototype pics. I'm really nervous about opening my Black Lady Figuarts now, though, since I had no clue about how delicate the hair in particular could be. I guess I should just try to use a lot of caution. I'm glad you had better luck the next time around.

Kez Plays Thanks a lot! Yes, the Zoisite figure was an exclusive release for San Diego Comic Con during the first release year of the Sailor Moon SHFiguarts so not everyone could get her easily. I do hope to get the Super versions of both Mercury and Mars at some point. I like all their bonus power items given to you in this new version.

That's pretty cool that there's technically another villain available, even if it's an exclusive that's somewhat a Sailor Moon palette swap. Yeah, they both look awesome. The Super Sailor Mars looks like it has A TON of effects. I was honestly surprised by that (unless some of the pics were showing her interacting with old effects; I should probably double-check that). I'm pretty late in the game when it comes to collecting the S.H.Figuarts, so I still need to decide if I'm going for Supers and sides only or also getting the previous guardian forms (I'm tempted to at least get the Outers). Also, kind of wish Super Sailor Moon came with a Kaleidomoon Scope, but I guess they didn't want to add Super S stuff in.

How do you maintain good condition on ur figures? I've been thinking and worrying about my things after I found a black mark on one of my sm sh figuarts and thought u would know

Hero Of The Moon You might try getting the spot off with a magic eraser. I have had spots show up on many of mine before and a lot of times I can remove the spot with one of them. You might give that a try.

Scary how many problems this figure has! I do like Black Lady and it's fun to see she can karate kick in that dress. She'll never do that in the anime. XD I haven't taken the plunge yet and gotten any SM Figuarts. Now Bandai has announced the Crystal line of Figuarts and that Moon is looking pretty good. Do you think you'd get the upcoming Crystal style figures? Coincidentally, I'll be getting a different figure soon -which will include that SM lip gloss I've been waiting for, whoo!- and it's my first articulated figure. I haven't read any horror stories which is good but I can't help but wonder if issues like your Black Lady might happen. I once got a figure and the weapons couldn't even fit into the hands. It was a lottery figure so it was cheap production but still disappointing that happened since I don't buy figures and the one time I did, that defect came up.

Problems with the Figuarts are slightly common I'm afraid. I've had issues with two other figures in the series, Jupiter having a broken antenna on her tiara and then 'Zoi Moon' having a broken arm joint right out of the box :( I do plan to get the Sailor Moon Crystal one of Moon for now. I figured I would give the line one more chance to surprise me. I think the figures are nice and what they can do is a great concept but the issues with quality vs the price is a concern.

I might want to get the Crystal Moon so if you could review it that'd be awesome. Maybe Bandai could surprise us and QC would be better for the new line. The new Chouette line is a blow, though. Such low quality for a figure with a good concept. It's Princess Serenity of all characters!

pointclicky I'll definitely do a review of her when I get her. I hope with all her extra hair detailing, she's not going to be as fragile as this one :/. I've been hearing mixed reviews on the Chouette figure as well. I preordered her but haven't gotten her in yet.

I broke my figure the exact same way and place -__-. Some crazy glue worked well enough but it sucks that I can't move her hair when posing her.

I bought her from Amazon US. That was quite some time ago but try to buy her from a seller that will show you the actual one you are getting so you can see if the box has all the company logos and toei sticker on the front!

Sailor Samara's Collections I was just joking aha. The very first s.h figuarts I got was a dragon ball z one and it broke. So now every s.h figuarts I get stays in the box! I only collect the DBZ and sailor moon. And they are all mint and safe in the box.
