I was so glad you confirmed what I heard while listening,, . I'm sure a little touch of eq sheen and the black lion would shine, also likes like your using a Neumann u49 I suspet if you used a cheaper condenser the blacklion would totally blow away the Audient, and the Audient would sound not brighter but haesher,,, well loved the demo. Great song you should send it into Nashville let some session musicians finish it off,,,

Thank you for a great real life comparison, it's so un-anal and therefore more realistic than most of them. BLA is a winner for me, without any doubt, it puts Audient in a whole other class, lower, of course. Great song and performance, as well!

Okay, i've read the trashing of Julian. Even if i agree with many points, i don't like trashing. I like BLA sound for sure (though i don't know what else was in the chain of recording, including computer). It has everything i need (and its front looks good, too, by the way). Still i have some questions. Four years ago, being 0 (or below 0) in recording i got PreSonus iTwo. Since then i hit myself against the wall with this interface (noise, no headroom, crashing, noise), StudioOne and (that's on me) my computer (and bad electrical setup..noise). Since then i did my best and finally decided to get a new interface. Got SSL2 and to my surprise i got more noise (the more mix knob towards the input, the more noise). Maybe that unit was defective, i don't know, but i'm not coming back to it, and i don't need "extras" and funny flimsy buttons. I've ordered Topping, Ali shipped it to literally "Denis, 3 lakes, Wisconsin". With-holding my comments here. So, i am looking for a new interface still. Just want a decent sound, minimum noise, 2x2, with mix knob, no headache. Two candidates are Arturia MiniFuse2 and BLA. They have the same (almost) options, but, the main thing, what about the over-all quality? Any thoughts?

That black lion audio is far superior to my ears and that is a fantastic song. I currently have an apollo twin x and I'm far from impressed.

Wow lows and low mid sounds really good on the black lion, MK1 sounds really cheap
@HarvinderSingh-yy8th9 ай бұрын
Wrong findings. Black is low, mid forwarded and audient is much more balanced and pleasant audio interface. It is industry recommended top. Is Black Lion industry recommended.

Audient can't be beaten by black lion revolution. Audient is industrial recommended audio interface.

Its nearly impossible to compete against Black Lion. They choose every part for its sound quality and musicality. They dont spend money on marketing (at least not much that i can tell) and their products perform.

@@DavidDiMuzioLessons Exactly only naive ppl believe this dude with his robotic style videos tbh. Us sound engineers only care about sound quality and accuracy, specs are one thing, real live situation and use is another one... Some ppl develop a cult like thing on youtube, but to me it is more a matter of have you ever mixed albums or work in the music domain... If not then im not interested about ppl spitting graphs and specs...

@@uniquetune0101 isn't that the truth ? To me if someone doesn't have work to show (mixes, masters etc) then opinion is useless in my world (audio world). Andrew Scheppes mixing with a mdr 7506 at 100 bucks that im sure dudes from youtubes with their specs sheet would destroy but he has mixed countless songs at high level. Datas are a thing but how it sounds is everything.

He also likes to plug in a dynamic mic to show people the "preamp noise" when nobody, even if the interface has enough gain when turned all the way to 6 o clock, should be doing. His channel will tell nobody anything about actual use cases.
