You can still get the taoist arms when you face him the second time. You just need to do the same and hit him from behind. So you have two chances incase you already beat him once

You missed a Spirit. If you go back to the Spider Boss arena, you can fight a Lantern Monk who drops his spirit. You might have to reload the area for him to show up.

There is a mask called the Skull of Turtle Treasure that you can get from chapter 3 that increases the chance for material drops if anyone missed it. Don’t think it was mentioned. You can farm it from the Turtle Treasure enemy in Valley of Ecstasy: Longevity Road. He does mention this 49:10 in this video 👍

Holy shit, bro, I feel so so lucky man. I got all the rices and two curios Spine in the sack in less than 5 min. First go through. Idk wth is going on but man I'm feeling good about it 😊. Love your walkthrough so far. Absolutely amazing. I'm not using the same build however but yours is good. I just feel better using the cloud step build with the charm that gives you red eyes 👀. I'm loving it

Feel so lucky. Killed Venom Daoist instinctively with a L3 before being completely (100%) sure I got four arms--you warned us a thousand times not to kill him too early. Light combo his back in Cloud Step but wasn't sure I got the 4th arm; and then he went to a bush and screamed in pain. When he came back out from the bush, I only saw two on his back. Still had my doubts--killed him before double-triple checking it. Again, lucky! Thanks for the tips!!

You missed a secret little cove directly to your right at 28:59 that 2 of those egg sacs are blocking the entrance of. There's a chest in there with blood of an iron bull & some other stuff I don't remember.

36:43 (Venom Daoist) I just couldn't clearly see if or when he had just the two arms at the back of him left, even after turning the brightness up to 90%. When I thought he had just the two back hands left I went in for the kill and killed him but didn't get the Venomous Armband drop. Guess he still had one more back hand remaining. Oh well. So much for that.

I am doing NG+ and going along for second time, I activate spell binder to start on all levels and when you hit the meditation spots they fill mana half way, so hit two spots get full mana while spell binder is active and I can cloud step and everything else while spell binder is active, have wukong set, wukong staff, three fire seals and one beats Buddha, supreme gourd, spirit Turtle treasure

I wouldn’t farm until you get the treasure turtle skull from the giant rat with skull helmet in chapter 3 near longevity road shrine. I think there is also one you can farm in this chapter
