Smash stance is even on endgame and NG+ the best and the only one able to 1shot the final boss. the others cant do that

I have the sprint gear maxed out, so I’m constantly gaining focus along with smash stands and it definitely worked. Now I’m attempting to fight the secret boss. I’ve only given him a few at times, but I’ve gotten them down to about 40%.

You can "see through" the enemy's attack with all 3 stances, not just smash.

If I recall correctly, you have to hold heavy attack and press forward to keep the rotation going. Not sure why the game doesn't tell you that.

@@kevnosity most spirits have a negative passive effect with the exception of a few. Wandering wight gives you a solid passive defense buff and there are only a couple others that don’t have negative passive effects

For me when I see your video. I tried so hard for doing Chapter 3 quest for Chubai and early on when I get it. I still confuse and not quite good at Thust skill , So I choose Spikeshaft Staff , but then I miss old Chubai , and I think I would came back for Chubai...

@@2cardi it’s Resolute Counterflow. You need to unlock it for the smash stance and have at least one focus point to cast it as you do light attacks

You get items for it later on. Pretty much anything in the game if you can’t have it now you have it later.

I have the same gear from the beginning of the game, except for like some different armor pieces that make my spells recover faster... and I am level 32 or smth and fighting this Sand Sage guy... How come staffs have like electricity effects or even burn red in chapter 2 ?☠

I got to the Sand Sage early as well and the fight was difficult. But If you do some sidequests in chapter 2 like the 6 Buddha Eyes (stronger staff with high defense) and Drunken Boar (wind tamer vessel that counters the boss), you get some good equips to make the fight much easier.

@@adeeljohn3116 You can go back to the Monkey in Chapter 1 and upgrade Gourds, but you probably already know that :). I think some of thr Gourds are just not Upgradeable, but I might be wrong.. I Just used the starting one and keep upgrading that one till I find something better. I'm only in the start of Chapter 3.

The Spikeshaft Staff is also for Thrust Stance - as you can see through enemies there as well. Its very very very badly translated.

You can tell when you seethrough an enemy if you have that "Invincible for a short duration" skill. So when you press heavy attack and jump backwards, if you turn white, you have seen-through the enemy.
