@@kashe747 many times back in the day - I just mean that no new stealth games have come out in a long time, not big budget games, not independent studio games. It would seem a lot easier to develop a game that was basically just like, say, mgs2 than it would to make a game just like Dark Souls but not Dark Souls.

@@Arkeo36 Now you are backtracking, the first metal gear solid game was back in 1987. the first Splinter cell game was back in 2002, so its relatively recent. Splinter cell was a stealth game, basically a clone of metal gear solid. maybe the reason why there no stealth games out in recent years because the market have become too saturated and nobody wants to play such games anymore, never thought about that? however you are not entirely correct. ghost recon wildlands have had stealth elements in it.
