It gets easier especially if you farmed pills and stuff, I’m 2-3 shotting bosses and I started ng+ yesterday and I’m already done with chapter 2 without dying

@@norunkai9546 NG+ is only easy if you farmed and grinded in first playthrough. But people who finished the game at lvl 70-90 and did not grind materials and gold, it is a challenge until they get more levels and money to upgrade etc. I saw a lot of people using save files of other people which has a lvl 150-200 wukong going into NG+ which will really make it easy for them naturally.

@@fairyeater-o you have to do most tho. get all secret areas unlocked. (which takes quite a bit of extra time.) beat all the bosses of the secret areas. complete the treasure hunters quest. there are also so many unskippable cutscenes and cutscenes that even if you do skip there is still like 10 seconds of extra footage to watch for some reason. and sometimes it's in boss fights as well. you have to do most things every playthrough to get the true ending.

@@jrbad6 I beat NG+++ this past weekend. Took me 110 hours to beat it the first time. I was so overpowered after beating it the first time, the second time around was way too easy. I restarted from scratch after this and it only took me until level 18 to beat chapter 1.

I’m honestly excited there’s something to grind for after. I really thought the campaign was gunna be one a done but I’ll play a game like this for a year and not get entirely bored of it . For some of us it’s the just the constant grind to better that makes it fun.

*Unlocking The True Ending - DO ALL THIS THREE TIMES!* Before we get started, it’s important to know that the true ending can’t be missed. After completing the game, you’ll be free to explore the world and finish the steps required to unlock the true ending. There is no quest for the true ending, but you will find clues in Chapter 3 where the Great Pagoda secret location is found. It is possible to unlock both endings in the same playthrough. Where To Find The Great Pagoda: The Great Pagoda is located in Chapter 3 - go to Pagoda Realm - Snow-Veiled Trail. Inside the Great Pagoda there are three requirements to progress the story and unlock the True Ending. *True Ending | Required Steps* -Complete the Treasure Hunter quest. -Complete four Secret Areas and defeat the end boss of each. -You only need to complete the following secret areas: Ch. 1, Ch. 2, Ch. 4, Ch. 5 -Return to the Great Pagoda and defeat the secret boss. -Complete the final boss in Chapter 6. Once all these steps are complete, return to the Great Pagoda and you’ll unlock the path to a new area. All the murals will appear, and you’ll be able to interact with the wall in the back of the Pagoda chamber. This new area leads to the True Final Boss. Defeat him and then defeat the normal final boss in Chapter 6 to get the best possible ending. *Treasure Hunter Quest* This quest is located in Chapter 3. For completing the quest, you’ll earn the Spell Binder magic that makes you more powerful but blocks all spells, forcing you to only use your staff. Here’s a general overview on how to complete this quest. Talk to the Treasure Hunter NPC in Chapter 3 - find him at Bitter Lake - North Shore of Bitter Lake. Find him at the ruined temple guarded by three flying enemies. Next, progress to the Valley of Ecstasy - Forest of Felicity shrine in Chapter 3. You’ll find him sitting on a log and shivering nearby. Use the Ring of Fire spell to warm him up. Talk to him after the cutscene. He’ll next appear at the Valley of Ecstasy - Melon Field shrine. From the Forest of Felicity, go down the hill to the river with the large tablet on the ledge. To the right, you’ll find a lit path leading down to reach the Melon Field shrine. In the cave, defeat the Green-Capped Martialist to complete the quest and get a cutscene. You’ll be rewarded with the Spell Binder. *Complete The Secret Areas* There are four secret areas you’ll need to complete - each one is tied to a chapter quest. None of the secret areas can be missed and you can always go back and finish each quest later. Chapter 1 Secret Area: Ancient Guanyin Temple - Ring all three bells in the forest to unlock this location. Bell #1: Forest of Wolves - Outside the Forest - Guarded by the Guangzhi optional boss. Bell #2: Bamboo Grove - Snake Trail - Guarded by the Guangmo optional boss. Bell #3: Bamboo Grove - Marsh of White Mist - Guarded by the White-Clad Noble boss. Defeat the Elder Jinchi boss to complete this secret area and unlock the Fireproof Mantle vessel. Chapter 2 Secret Area: Kingdom of Sahali - Complete the quest for the Drunk Boar NPC to unlock this location. Step #1: Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat - Talk to the boar NPC in the large dead-end area. He’ll ask for a Sobering Stone. One can be found at Yellow Wind Formation - Windrest Hamlet Checkpoint. Step #2: Crouching Tiger Temple - Talk to the boar at the Tiger Vanguard boss location. Give him a Jade Lotus to progress. These are found in Chapter 1 near the water. Step #3: Valley of Despair - Sandgate Village - Defeat the large rat enemy and collect the Arhat Gold Piece. Step #4: Return to Rockrest Flat where you originally found the boar NPC. Defeat his boss form, the Yellow-Robed Square and he’ll open the gate to the bonus area. Progress into the Kingdom of Sahali and defeat the giant bug boss Fuban. This will earn the Wind Tamer vessel. Chapter 4 Secret Area: Purple Cloud Mountain - To unlock this area, you need to find and defeat the Venom Daoist optional boss. Venom Daiost #1: Webbed Hollow - Pool of Shattered Jade - To the right of the shrine, enter the cave full of spider cocoons. At the end, attack the large talking cocoon to reveal the Venom Daoist optional boss. Defeat him. Venom Daoist #2: Temple of the Yellow Flower - Court of Illumination - From the shrine, backtrack into the canyons and find a path leading into a large cavern below. The Venom Daoist is here. Defeat him to unlock the path to the Purple Cloud Mountain. Purple Cloud Mountain is where you’ll find a difficult optional boss - the Scorpionlord. You can completely ignore this boss. You only need to defeat the Duskveil and collect the Weaver’s Needle vessel. Chapter 5 Secret Area: Bishui Cave - Find and destroy all the corpse carts on the mountain to unlock this cave. Defeat the boss of Bishui Cave to complete the dungeon. *Great Pagoda & Secret Boss* Once you’ve finished these steps, you can unlock the hidden boss. Return to the Great Pagoda - this can be done BEFORE or AFTER completing Chapter 6. If you complete Chapter 6 first, you’ll see the normal ending. If you complete Chapter 6 AFTER, you’ll need to fight the final boss of Chapter 6 a second time. Here’s a quick series of steps. Return to the Great Pagoda and interact with the wall. If you’ve completed all the steps above, you’ll be transported to a new location. At the end of the path, you’ll encounter Erlang, The Great Divinity. Defeat him and the following bosses. To get the true ending, you’ll need to defeat the Chapter 6 boss AFTER completing Erlang and the others. This is a massive spectacle boss that isn’t as difficult as the normal Chapter 6 final boss - Erland is very difficult, but the rest of the fights are easy in comparison. Hope this helps 👍

Yes, finish the game as per play through, continue the game (do not start a new game) to fight erlang, then fight final boss again to get true ending. You can fight the last boss infinity.

@@GameWithDave dude exactly my take as well! It felt AMAZING beating bosses like Yellow loon and the final bosses on my own with just testing builds! Such a satisfying feeling knowing you did it whine you read comments on socials from others saying “they give up, it’s been 5 hours on yellowbrow” makes you feel great inside 😂😂 yellow loon surprisingly took me the longest to defeat and for sure had the most resets fighting him. Took me a 1 hour 45 min to figure out how to beat that DEMON😂🤙🏽

Just the one you missed 👍 You will need to kill nine Lantern Wardens before you fight Captain Wise-Voice. Otherwise, they will be gone permanently and you can not get the Auspicious Lantern.

I dunno if its just me, i am a month late after all...but i blasted through 3 of the chapters in 1 day because i was killing the bosses so damn quickly. So if the bosses were actually buffed since my first playthrough...they clearly weren't buffed enough if it takes a few max charged heavies from you and your clones to kill them

There is a gourd that you can only purchase in NG+. And to craft all of the weapons and armor for chapter 5's set, you need to play through the secret area twice of that level so no harm going back in new game plus 👍 hope that helps

Sadly not unless you have a back up save on the cloud. Your save file is overwritten as you start new game plus

Dave I’m in new game plus chapter 6 but when I get to the Jingubang staff it doesn’t trigger a cutscene nor am I able to interact with the staff and I need it to progress further any tips???????? :’(

It could be a bug do you have any back up saves on the cloud? Maybe also try a fresh install backing up your save so the games updates again and hopefully that helps.

No you keep all your armor and if you have all the materials you can upgrade. But higher level armors will require items in chapter 3-6 so try to farm materials to upgrade before you jump into new game plus 👍😀

Having to complete the game 3 times to unlock the wukong stance ridiculous. Should be given after one full play through. I get they want to give rewards to those that put in the time. But when less than half your customers actually finish the game it seems only right to reward those that do.

Once you start new game plus you get it. You have to first go fight Erlang the Sacred Divinity in chapter 3 then you fight wukong shell (final boss) at the end and this will give you the true ending and you will get the 6th relic which is the head piece... The reason why you have to fight Erlang first is because of wukong's memory which he released after u beat him hope that helps.

New game plus, when you get wukongs mind relic set it to the middle option so pluk of many clones will use the charged heavy attack simultaneously for way more damage, im walking through new game plus like it is a cake walk, until erlang shen the only boss in this game to actually challenge me, wu kongs shell defeated him on my second attemp.

I was wondering how XP works? Do you get more XP on the enemies the second time around? Like in chapter 1 do the enemies just give you the base like 30 or is it doubled? How does that work? I'm around level 125 on my first playthrough and wanted to farm some before I start a new game plus? Should I just go ahead and start is that high enough what is your opinion?

The final boss if you are good at the game can be beat at 80-100. First play-through just enjoy the game/story as you get to new game plus xp more than doubles so worth doing all the farming on the second play-through. But you could easily get to level 200 with the chapter 4 farm to breeze the end game hope that helps 👍

How about the recipe for your weapons. Do you have to build those before you start NG+ or can you still craft them in NG+? And how about your essence, do you keep them in NG+?

You do get to keep recipe for weapons and armor, and your essence too. Ng+ only reset your will, key items(your material still get to bring over to ng+)

@@GameWithDave I can upgrade the other spirits to the normal end level the little mark looks like a T or something. The frog was the only one I seem to be able to upgrade to mythic. Like you showed in the video. My assumption is it’s because the frog was a boss that had to be defeated like 6 times and you got a unique item called tadpole for it. Which was the only item besides will needed to upgrade. Maybe the devs wanted to make special spirits but only had enough time for 1
