Hoarfrost needs no investment nor a 75+ power staff. Heavy heavy + rtrigger light will still net you 2500, not that far from 2800

For those wanting to max it out and shave a few seconds off each run: Put pilgrim gear on so you have faster sprint. Invest point into cloud step so that you move faster in cloud step. Bind the "Incense Trail Talisman" to one of your pill buttons (I chose RT + Up). From the shrine, cloud step in the direction of the cave, sprint rest of way until you are in the middle. Being in cloud step form means none of the spiders will see you so they wont slow you down trying to make your way into the middle. Then transform and explode, then warp back to shrine using the incense trail talisman that you binded to your pill button. You will get all of the will, there's no need to wait for the will points to stop accumulating on the UI, the same amount will be there when you reset at the shrine. Also, I turned my graphics settings to the absolute lowest setting you can to help load times when teleporting back to shrine.

Nice farm! Played around with the setup and was able to get ~3,400 a run in ~25 seconds: - Equip the Folk Opera gear set if you have it which moderately increases Will gain - Spirit: Latern Holder which moderately increases Will gain - Curio Slot: Goldflora Hairpin which slight increases Will gain - Curio Slot: Celestial Registry Tablet which slightly increases Experience gain If you have the 3rd Curio slot - Curio slot: Wind Chime for faster movement speed

@@surajshergill7777 no. the Folk Opera set is specifically for Will, the game's currency, not EXP. it can be upgraded though, and i know armor gets an extra effect once it's upgraded but i don't know if it gets an exp boost or not. as such, the only item that boosts exp is the Celestial Registry Tablet Curio

If you want to make the process faster. Choose your spirit as “earth-wolf” and select the cloud step option. So while going you use cloud step for faster sprint and use your earth wolf to get back to the shrine to rest. It will save atleast 4-5 seconds more. 🎉

The video was very informative of how to unlock this method. So thank you for that. However, not entirely sure why you're running back. As well as waiting for the XP drops to stop. The experience is instant. You can set your incense trail talisman to a quick slot, and teleport back the moment you explode. Saves a significant amount of time. You can also spawn in, Cloud Step dash to where you need to be. Explode, then warp back with Talisman.

Just to let anyone chosing this spot to farm, the amount of XP does increase as your level goes up. So if your level is low and you manage to get to this location, initially, it will seem you are getting great farming result, as your level goes higher, it will take more runs in order to get a spark. For example, from level 85, it only takes 4, or 5 runs. When I got to level 110, it took me 7 runs. It will get incredibly boring. I actually fell asleep twice. So, do have plenty of coffee nearby, oh, and lots of patience. In the end, it is worth it. That is for those players, like myself, a bit slow to do perfect dodge, the extra health and attacking power really really help. Thanks to this video, it makes my life considerably easier when playing Wukong. Thanks.

@@willy_lime I'd agree if it was abit of a distance I'd use it like at the rockrest flat in yellow wind guai region (chapter 2) or snake trail in black wind mountain region (chapter 1) but this one specifically, it's just around the corner haha...I just equip the centipede as my spirit for movement increase & a drink for my gourd that also increases movement speed and one curio equipped for movement speed then the last 2 curios that gain me more will, and the FOLK OPERA ARMOR SET equipped...then take a sip (im fast asf boi) run to the sacks, transform, blow up, take a sip, sprint back, rest.. BOOM!

Tip. When I beat the two headed guy I didn't think about taking to a rock and had to go back before the cut scene even started at pagoda. Aside from that you can use the folk opera gear and various curios to get about 2900 will reach time and either gold or 3 pieces of silk. Ive farmed from 5k to 59k will in about 8 minutes. No BS. Fun fact if you pop your duplicates just before you run in to explode you get 2600 every time you do this I’ve counted it only takes 6 runs for a spark lvl up!!! I came across this on my own yesterday when I finally got to ch 4!!!! Glad this is out to the masses hope my modification. Helps those that are into max efficiency!

Man, being in that Ch3 area with the lantern enemies...that place was just anxiety/nightmare town lol I'm familiar with chinese music/instruments but that 'ghost' creepy music gets to me. I'm actually lv 60...and I'm struggling more than I should be.....I found a good way to 'pressure' Captain Mind/Voice or whatever to get him to lay on the ground after being hit too much, so that worked well. Now I'm struggling with white dragon lady (before teaming up with BaJie) and Cyan Loong. Either way, this was a good video and any vid on farming is helpful.

I farm xp starting at the temple entrance killing 13 blind monks and they sometimes drop mind cores, the main thing I'm farming. Equipped with spellbinder with smash stance and charge heavy attack will one shot the monks, with the curio that give extra xp each monk will give 508 xp. Downside to this method, a lot of running around. I'll give your mehod a try, thanks 7:06

To add more will gain and xp gain, use goldflora hairpin and celestial registry tablet. Im currently using two goldflora hairpins and 1 tablet and receiving 403xp and around 8400-8500 will on every blow. I gain a spark 99% of the time on every other blow if not, for sure on the 3rd blow

A couple more tips to speed this up: Equip the curios Goldflora Hairpin, Celestial Registry Tablet and Golden Carp for some extra XP, will and chance to loot items. Then, either use the Pilgrim's set for the increased movement speed, or Folk Opera set for more will, depending on what you prefer. Lastly, use the Bluebridge Romance drink to increase movement speed, with the following soaks: Deathstinger & Double-combed Rooster Blood, to increase the movement speed even more. Sip the gourd before transforming, then go blow shit up, incense back. Repeat.

Just to add one more tip: if you equip the Incense Trail Talisman to one of your on-hand slots, then use it immediately after Fiery Burst, you’ll transport right back to the shrine and skip having to rest. It’s just as fast as running back and resting, but saves you from having to physically turn around, run back and rest. And even though your Will is still calculating when you teleport, you don’t lose anything by doing it this way.

My order was a little different. 1. Beating the Captain in the jail 2. Opened the cell of the prisoner 3. Beat the area boss and progressed to the 3rd chapter 4. Went back to the village and talked to the doorway (because of this video, thank you very much) 5. Went back to the cell and the body was laying there with the knife stuck in the two-headed rat prince So it seems like it's opposite? Not sure, but I'm a little sad that I missed out on another boss fight, because the boss fights in this game have been pretty epic! It's a great game, and I'm really enjoying it (I should be wrapping up Chapter 3 in the next hour or so after this message). Keep these videos coming!

This is definitely a fast leveling farm however, Rockrest Flat is still better because you can simultaneously farm Mind Cores. You get about 1,601xp per run and it’s RNG for the Mind Cores but it’s better than doing double the work. Also if you beat Yellow Loong in chapter 4 you get something to help with drop rates.

@@willy_lime no way. You get way less xp and have to deal with a bunch of annoying ads who only give you 30xp. The porcupine horseman gives you mind cores and 275xp per kill. There’s 4of them so that’s 1,100xp if you kill the 3 rock dude’s that 127xp for 381xp and the 3 spitter dudes are 40xp a piece so thats 120xp add that up and it’s 1,601xp per run. Plus you don’t have to use the teleport talisman because the shrine is right there so that saves you time.

My spear is only 70 attack so couldn't do it so I built the following. Folk opera fully kitted out(extra will)/gold flora hairpin(extra will)/mad tiger fully upgraded(gets the attack up to spec). I'm averaging 3200 per run. Also throw in the wind chime for a little extra speed . Nice.

Update on killing all enemies without 75 lvl staff . After the explosion instantly spawn a pluck of many then run back to the shrine they will kill the remaining nests while you go to reset . That way you will get the full exp every time.

I’ve been using this for a while. I think it’s slightly quicker to use the Incense Trail Talisman to warp back to the Shrine, rather than run….depends on your reload speed maybe.

At higher levels it seems to take longer per level but just went from 88 to 120 and 400k will, so thankyou enormously. Us older folks need all the hellp we can get 🤣

It's much faster to quick slot the return talisman to one of the directional button and use this as soon as you are done exploding. Whenever you reappear at a shrine the enemy would have respawned if you used the Incense Trail Talisman as opposed to running back and resting which takes more time.

@@Slurpy2k8 you do know that I didn't spend 24 straight hours obviously but 5 days out of the week after work I would farm for hours. Don't bash people just because they have the patience to get what they want. At least I did it legitly and it's pretty easy if you play music in the background

One you get past level 80 it takes forever to level up.

Do yourself a favor and equip the folk opera armor set and the goldflora hairpin curios for more will and the golden carp curios of more materials to drop if you want to additionally farm silk and small/tiny pieces of gold. You'd be getting x3224 instead of x2689 will, with a bunch of items to be dropped on any given run as well.

If you completed the 3rd prince questline the rat won't be in the cell with him dead you have to go find him in chapter 3 and kill it yourself

[the webbed hollow, webbed hollow , relief of the fallen loong] kill the 5 beetle, 650 exp 650 will, medicine drops, cold iron leaves, refined iron sand, mind core. Build -weapon-jingubang, relic-weaver’s needle, spirits-turtle treasure,all gear- pilgrim don’t have to be full upgrade, curios- golden carp n anything for the other 2 slot, gourd- any,SPARKS-self advance- foundation-Survival-max out stamina,mana,crit chance,crit damage,and attack-STAFF STANCE - Exhilaration max- Instinct max- Quick hand max- Secondary damage max-Smash stance-Force,ironbound resolve 1 point-Smashing force 2 point-Peace from peril-MYSTICISM - Spell binder max all the tree-Altertion nothing-Strand nothing-Transform nothing. The rest of the sparks you have lift is up to you. All you do now is cast SPELL BINDER, fully charge your heavy attack while running to build up pilgrim stacks and smack the beetle should kill him in 1 shot

If you add the item that gains more experience in a curio slot, it will boost that 105 to 115.

This is even better in ng+, I'm getting 400 per enemy and counted 25 enemies meaning 10,075 xp per run. It's also faster to just use the talisman to teleport back, ive done it for an hour now, went from level 148 to 215
