Hardest part of this boss was having the hits actually connect with the weird hitbox on the boss. The fight itself is fairly simple, especially so when you have the item from The Duskveil to cancel the phase near the end. So you can just save your cooldowns for the last phase, and end it before there's much of a threat. Overall this chapter was much better than chapter 3, which I was very glad for. Other than some of the bosses having pretty bad hitboxes, it was enjoyable.

How come your fight with this guy didn’t have the second phase where it’s all dark & dusty & orangish? That’s the hardest part for me that I can’t get past :( I constantly am getting hit by attacks that weren’t in the first sequence.. but I didn’t see this in your fight

@@troyjohnson2751 you have to beat the scorpionlord in the secret realm (after doing a few other side missions) to get the golden needle. When you get it, activate it right before he does the routine slamming the sword into the ground.
