I 100% the game today, was relatively easy but some things to consider: The last soak is given by Shen Loong as a reward for giving him all the seeds in the game, the last gourd is bought from Shen once you have every portrait unlocked and there is a secret set of armor just behind where you start Chapter 6 (need the cloud to get there)

That's not the worst sin of the game. There's a lot of fumbles outside of the core content. Builds, balance, translations and achievements are all done wrong. Take achievements for exapmle - you shouldn't be get achievement for a random rare drop from gathering flowers, which have 30 IRL minutes respawn cooldown, which you do; meanwhile, you don't get achievement for unlocking secret great sage stance, you don't get achievement for unlocking 5th curio... Or the translations - for Polish, only like 50% of the content is translated - you get a prompt: "we are sorry we are working on the translation" for the other 50%, it's ridiculus, I didn't buy a game in beta, it's supposed to be a finished product. Game could be 10/10, as the core of the game is awesome, but there are things to be polished. I think it was released in rush and not really finished.

Once I had the Golden Carp that I got dropped around chapter 5, I roamed around till I found another one of these four legged freaks near the temple and after first kill he dropped it! You can still find them!!! and have them drop. I finished that four legged dude lots of times. But with the carp it dropped easy.

​@@davidem98I waited for like 30 seconds after I took off the arms before killing him. Cause I had gotten them off before and it didn't drop. I exited out of the game right away and just went back in to start it over. Take a weaker weapon (I use the tri tip spear)

Something I noticed from my own play thru is that the curios items mentioned here (tiger belt and the beast buddha mask) have a more common drop rate than those of the armor. When I started farming the curious items I got the beast buddha curio on my third try while the tiger belt took me two. As for the Locust antenna mask and the Vajra armguard I've been farming these for 3hrs and no sign of dropping!!

No I got them on NG+. Was excited for a poison build. Nope. Only viable poison build involves poisoning yourself with the gourd. Which is fine except poison doesn’t do much at all. I wish they had more bane builds

Some of the rng stuff is crazy. I got that mask on first try and I thought it was a normal auto drop. Same with other items but then the tiger belt and other stuff seems to not want to drop from me.

Nah. Cure hiccups by continuously taking small sips of water without breathing and that actually resets it. You can’t breathe while drinking and the continuous sipping causes reset cause you aren’t able to breathe anyway.

I used a lower level staff, imobilize and only hit from behind. make sure you break of 4 arms BEFORE the cutscene starts and he runs away. keep dodging around till imobilize cools down. do not do any dmg otherwise just to be extra safe.

In Chapter 3, in the pagoda there is another talisman. You have to obsessively knock these big critters where only then will they spawn. After the 9th you get the talisman. DANGER! If you kill the pagoda boss, the critters disappear. Kill all 9 before the boss

@@Epicninfa96 It's called the "Auspicious Lantern" talisman. What is really important before the Boss is that you first kill these 9 lantern enemies. Only then the pagode boss. If you do the boss before, the possession curse and the lantern enemies will disappear.

I did the Beast Buddha farm at the new thunderclap temple entrance, that way I killed 2 birds with one stone as in the very next room there's a blind monk that I needed to farm to get the See No Evil headband as well. Fun fact, I did drop both of them within 2 runs after missing so many times that I stacked 10+ mind cores and 3 full levels in the 130+ range, so you can imagine how many resets it took! xD Ps: I also got the tiger belt on my very fist kill of that npc and only now that I'm scouring for the last things to iron out I realized how insanely lucky that was! :O

@@jamachabobbobythin8152 I'm not using it nor I plan to ever do so, 4 piece set bonuses are way too good to pass up, nor are the sets that use only 3 pieces good enough to warrant using this headband. The Mythic upgraded Pilgrim, the Wukong chapter 6 set and eventually when you can craft it the Bullking armour are all infinitely better than the rest, so it is only a matter of collecting it for the achievement.

You need just 2 playthroughs do unlock all bull king armor and the staff it totals 8 horns and you get 4 every playthrough. You need 2 horns for the staff, 2 horns for the head piece and 2 horns for the chest, and 1 each each for the arms and leg piece which totals 8 horns and you get 4 every playthrough

In chapter 3 after you get off the giant turtle theres a dragon guy on the beach, you beat him, then talk to him a bunch, go to the pill fox guy and he will make you an item to give to the dragon guy, take it to he dragon guy, he will then give you a scroll that will transport you in to a new hub area where the heal upgrade monkey and the pill fox now reside, there is a tiger blacksmith that allows you to upgrade armor. You can challenge him to a fight and if you beat him you get his transformation spell and 3rd curio slot.

Scorpion Lord boss didn’t drop his deathstinger needed to craft the chest armor. He appeared during the boss battle with Dustveil or whatever that bosses name is and got killed. Wasn’t able to go back to his location to kill him for the drop as he wasn’t there anymore. Really really annoying mechanic can’t get the chest until NG+ playthrough now and I was running a poison build. Very disappointing

I call BS on many of these. Some of the armor stuff are random RNG drops. If you got 'em that means you got extremely lucky with the RNG on most of them. BC the Vajra armguards are such a rare drop. I've farmed them for 2hrs and still no getting drops.
