She's one of The 28 Stars (二十八宿). In the original, she once used her horn to drill a little hole in the Golden Cymbals (since her horn is the most sturdy thing among 3 Realms) to save Wukong and many others who's trapped within it (by Yellowbrown). One thing more related to the original, Yellowbrown is considered one of the toughest enemy of Wukong. He defeated Wukong 2 or 3 times, each time Wukong escaped and called for help, he all used the Golden Cymbals and his huge Bag to capture everyone Wukong invited to in order to defeat him. Until Maitreya Buddha (Yes, the fat child Buddha in the game) shared Wukong a trick: Wukong after being chased once again by Yellowbrown, now transformed into a watermelon. Yellowbrown after chasing Wukong for a while, feels thirsty and asked the farmer to have a fruit in his garden. Well, the farmer is also The Buddha transformed to, also. After eating the watermelon that's Wukong transformed to, Yellowbrown felt an insanely stomach-ache since Wukong was attacking inside out his belly, and Yellowbrown was forced to release those who was captured by him.
