Yes I did it following your advice! Thanks my man! Awesome video! But I used the needle as soon as he did the stupid orb thingy, it avoids his 2nd phase opening combo.

Appreciate the guide! Was stuck on this boss for about an hour, after trying this build first tried it :) The heavy pillar stance was enough to get me past the crappy hitboxes! (I'd not use that stance up to this point)

Hey, for 10:24 problem, u have to first click R2 then L2. everything in this game starts with R2 lol. Also for the projectiles instead of cloudstep you could spin the staff to block them

Officially quit the game at this fight. If an item is so important that u absolutely need it to beat a main boss, it should not be locked behind an easily missed side quest. It should be a main quest item. Poor game design imo

@@gunnerfan2000 I feel you. But you should still be able to get it regardless whether you beat Hundred Eye or not. Also the fact that you did beat this boss without it shows that your a really good player. Would hate for you not to finish the game homie!

I suck at these games, but let's be real here, it's totally doable without it. Vessels in this game are basically a way to trivialize final bosses for players that may need it. It's great design imo, the game gives you an easy escape. It's also lore accurate as Wukong had to rely on the power of vessels to defeat powerful ennemies at some point. Also they patched the "combat experience" of this very boss in yesterdays patch. Probably related to the hitbox, I didn't try it myself.

@@tinglabing 100% - and why not use the tools the game gives you. They also did patch the hitbox, and I'll be testing that today in my 100% walkthrough series if there's any improvement. Love the insights into the lore. Didn't know that before thanks!

@@JackoffeeTV fought him again on my ng++ run and they really seem to have improved the hitbox . You can eat his front legs more easily.

@@tinglabing yeah I was able to test it recently as well. I always use pillar stance cause I get the earliest mythic staff by then anyway

@@โทนี่นะค่ะพร่อง 160 is bananas. I think I was 65 when I beat it. Just as a point of reference for others. I know I was 70 for the Chapter 5 boss.

@@JackoffeeTVdang yeagh I’m like level 85 I think still haven’t beaten him I also can’t beat yellow lo ong either I’m currently using a 80 damage staff and can only get him to phase 2 then about almost dead the main boss of chapter 4 that is yellow lo ong is much harder imo

@ryanslopez573 it's a tough game man. I finished the entire game at level 79. Starting a platinum walkthrough series releasing episodes daily. I'm on chapter two right now. But feel free to check it out as I walk through each boss and a more optimized way to progress through the game.

@@JackoffeeTV I’m now currently on ng++ but thanks for the help it took me about a week or two to finish the game but I did it I’m kinda stubborn when it comes to wanting to do things my own way also I’m also on ng+++ I’m currently at the final boss and have all the slots completed for all the relics except for the 6th one I’m just missing one more Erlang fight ps. There’s a concept art armor you can get in chapter 6 it’s quite good for the dark iron staff

Hoping to help those who generally are struggling with the entire game outside certain bosses. Its been fun going back and experiencing everything this game has to offer!
