I like having the Pilgrim's set maxed with cloud step spam. Lower the mana cost of cloud step to 30 using the spirit and use the drink that restores mana. When you hit with cloud step, the cool down is almost fully reduced due to the relic. With enough crit. and Unified, you can take out bosses easily even Erlang. Plus the added mobility is always nice for exploring.

@@ChrisCanSing-w8p Any weapon like Jingubang, pilgrim set for armor, weaver's needle, and misty cloud, cloudy mist for the spirit, this will reduce mana cost of CS from 40 to 30. Use the eagle eye relic for cooldown reduction. Use the Jade Essence drink for additional mana. Before a fight use CS, charge heavy smash stance, and run around to build up pilgrim's damage and crit chance. You can also drink from gourd to further increase damage of CS using the Breath of Fire soak. You can easily get 3-4k damage on critical hit. If you have the Unified Minds relic, then your duplicates will also crit for the same amount, sometimes 1 shotting bosses.

@@vickstoire There are some skills in that tree that only affect you while transformed but I believe every skill in there that doesn't have 'while transformed' in its description is basically always in use. The Tiger one from Chapter 3 reduces Mysticism one of the transformation skills when maxed gives you 45 extra defence for instance. Pretty nice little boosts here and there.

The build that has been working the best for me in NG+3 is full bull armor set, dark iron staff, weavers needle, wandering wight, 3x gold spikeplate, 3x agate jar, 3x tiger relic soaks and a maxed out spell binder. The damage it's doing is insane, destroyed Erlang and Wukong shell easily.

Got it! You need full mana to pull off Spell Binder. There are items that can regenerate mana like Jade Essence Drink and the Turtle Tears Soak. Make sure you have these, then you can drink after a pluck to refill mana. You’re welcome 👌 p.s That combined heavy attack of all the clones, yeah you can only do that if you beat Erlang Shen. Try the Dark Iron staff with the bull set in armor massively amp up your defense with 3 Goldspike plates and an agate jar and use spell bind. i was beat the living shit out of every boss in the game. I only had 3 Bull King pieces on cause i didnt wanna loose perfect dodging, so i put on soaring braces for the extra crit hit chance.

Use the fan vessel you get at the end of chapter 5. It'll break his defense way quickly and use Pluck of Many after it breaks (needs full upgrade from the skill tree). Also, use Immobilize only when you're charged with at least 3 focus points. Use the spell timing to get to 4 and then do heavy hits (Smash or Pillar stance). I advise you to use Wukong Armor set or Mythical Pilgrim set for the fight. Both will give you enough damage and spell usage to finish him.

You can use the big Ball spirit (Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top) found in Chapter 5 (just google the location if you missed it, you can just pick it up without a fight). Upgrade that to the max and its really good at breacking his block. Also the Azure Dust Transformation is really good. for some reason he doesnt really attack you in that form (at least when i did it) and you can use that to attack and breack his block, I honestly wouldnt necessarily use Pluck of many (unless you have a lot of mana) because Immobilize is really good once his guard is broken. Also Cloudstep is really good to avoid his really big attacks (upgrade the duration and health of the decoy). So sparing Mana for that was really useful to me. I know this was a lot but i hope I could help lol

There is other shock staff that is overall better than 1st one. You need NG+ to ge it tho. Also secret OG Wukong armor from chapter 6 is better than bull armor for defense buiilds. I almost dont see any1 talking about build I have used to beat base game. Gold set + thrust stance with spear and stacking crit chance can let you spam and recharge tornado fan and your choosen spirit almost all the time.

So I got a combination of two builds the centipede one and the dark iron staff I’m in NG+ getting around 240 damage with no buffs. Than I poison myself, use spell binder. You can't it's either or spell binder uses all your mana. You can spell binder and life saving strand. Also you get too a soak that after resurrection it'll fill your entire gourd back up too (guanyin's willow leaf).

You have to do the secret ending, fight all secret bosses then fight the last boss. You will then get the secret ending, which is the true ending. They will show a animate cut scene, then after the credits are done playing, start a new cycle and you will have to pick the middle one for your 6th relic, unified minds

It’s easy ….. jst use jade essence drink…. It restores mana too…. So cast pluck of many…. Drink from gourd 3-4 times… and then walla full mana and now cast spell binder …. Hope it helps

That's the heavy attack you get when you reach 4 focus points. If you look at the bottom right at your 3 focus points you will see a white bar that will charge . Once you reach 3 points and charge that bar to full. You will hear a loud ding noise indicating you can use the hidden 4th focus points heavy finisher

I haven't been able to really get the poison or stormflash builds to click. They just seem too micro-manage-y for me. I've just switched to a golden armor crit build using non-able for my summon. Now that's been good fun (on ng+2).
