This song gives me nostalgia flashbacks. I hear it and I immediately go back to the night I got the game. I remember every single thing. Everything from seeing all my friends playing Bo2 to loading into the campaign for the first time. Playing multiplayer for the first time. Playing zombies for the first time. Only now I remember those times and I can’t believe that it was over 10 years ago.

I was 13 when this game was out. Now I’m 24…. I remember I met a girl on Roblox and we both chatted and became besties. We heard about bo2 and played together. Used to be on Skype. I miss her voice and her smile. I hope she’s doing okay as of today and living a great life.

Oh. Three friends and I sat at the lunch table. We felt the rush of excitement as we talked about what the game would be like. I can still hear our pre-pubescent 5th grade voices, clamoring over one another, trying to add yet another cool feature that would be in the game. How revolutionary it was. It was all I thought about for months. I’d go to sleep, dream of it, then mention what cool thing I thought of could be done in the game to my friends. The reveled in it. Some of us had concerns over how we would purchase it. As it turned out, only two of us managed. So our third friend, who I’ll call chase, came over to both of our houses on random weekends and that was all we did for hours… and the talking did not stop at the lunch table for what felt like years…. Maybe it’s nostalgia hitting me like a freight train, but even when I take off my rose colored glasses, what remains is how palpable our excitement and happiness was… modern warfare 2 had the exact same effect. We’ve all since got careers, kids, wives, and homes. But even with our minds being occupied by far more pressing issues, you can still feel the memories play back in detail unparalleled by anything, as if our childhoods happened a few weeks ago.

this made me feel... a lot... For some it could be lame, but I'm glad I got to play BO2 at the age i did. I'm 22 now, i was 10 when this gem came out and I remmember it as if it was yesterday, asking my parents to play during the week just that one time. For some reason the store i pre-ordered it delivered a day earlier then expected and I felt the luckiest mf alive for the whole day, even though it was just monday and i would have to wait the whole week to play. Played the first mission of the campaign, lost my shit hearing the multiplayer and zombies main menu and went to sleep cause it was already late. Next day I took the game to school and all just to show off, drew the nuketown symbol everywhere... I miss it, it was a good phase that I'm grateful I went through

I used to play with a squad of 3 including me, for years we played Xbox. Now the last 3-4 years unfortunately times have hit and we no longer talk/play anymore. Both changed there Xbox names and I have the last original name to the crew. I’d love to go back and play one more game with them just like old times, but on one condition. Literally must go back in time to play again, because it’ll never be the same I’ve tried and tried but both of them don’t want to talk no more & it fuxking hurts because they were the best bros I ever had... Growing up absolutely sucks anything & everything about it sucks. Thank you for all the memories, I could chill all day and tell stories haha
