treyarch didn’t really stop, activision doesn’t allow them, they made treyarch make cold war in 6 months in the middle of covid. just to put that into perspective, they gave infinity ward(there favorite dev team) 3 years to make mw19. it’s pretty obvious that treyarch games sold the most and so activision had treyarch mass produce black ops games, which is why bo3 and bo4 don’t even feel like black ops,

true its nice letting all the memories flood in but in my opinion back then was the best times and thats when BO2 was in its prime cuz everyone played it and what makes those times even better is bcz u were way younger and being young you have zero responsibilities, no homework, no tests to study for, school was plain and simple once u were home u wouldnt have to worry abt it, and in my case my family and siblings used to live in one house with me back then and we played together which made it even better for me. Everything was fine, I had friends, a loving family, I even had a crush but never knew what love truly was. Then one day, when I was jumping on a trampoline, my brothers double bounced me and I went flying backwards and hit the back of my head on the metal frame. From that moment, everything was still the way it was but I was in massive amounts of pain. Flash forward to 2021, I…made a joke. The joke is the name I currently have, and probably will have til the end of time. And a gas mask pfp wouldn’t match _the_ SmugSmugglingSmugger, so I went on Bing, to search up Google. I then searched up “smug profile pics” and right there, glancing at me, was the perfect pfp, *the smug trap*. It was perfect! I saved the image, and quickly used it as *all* my pfps. And I was complete. _The_ SmugSmugglingSmugger was now fully smugged. In short, the trampoline caused brain damage

Even though my brother what my half blood we still had so many good times playing this game I looked up to my brother because of how nice he was and how fun he was when I played with him he really knew how to make my day all he had to do was pop in black ops two and we would just play all day. He would show me cool glitches that can still be done till this day And old man he was such a great sniper I don’t know how many times he got me but it must’ve been in the millions cause he is being me so much with his diamond sniper and I will admit I would rage quit but in the end we would make it up and have fun and play zombies.

Remember when you experienced and played this game for the first time in 2012? I bet you do. I do. That is a feeling we are never gonna experience again. Heres how, if this game gets remastered, IF, it will be the same sweaty, competitive playerbase we see on current cod games and warzone. Sure you'll play on classic maps with your old loadouts, but that 2012 feeling wont be there. "Dont cry because its over, smile because it happened." Not only did it mean seeing the death of so many great characters (Mason, Alex optional) but it also meant I was getting close to the end of a master piece, and blessing of a game. Good times. BO2 was truly the first CoD game I actually ended up enjoying and investing through the story itself. The only CoD games I played at the time were MW1 and MW2, but this story really hit me hard, despite the fact I never played BO1 at the time, until much later down the line. The main theme of this game is just pure of nostalgia, making me hope that they end up remastering this game at some point in the future. Also, I never expected to really become invested with a character like Woods after this game. I remember how at first I was like "Who the hell is this old fart? And why is he this important to the story?" & Then they show me this badass side of himself in the 80s, especially the big character development he got from Pyrrhic Victory to Suffer with Me. Such a great game, even as a standalone game as well! Just wished I had played BO1 first back then so I could've appreciated his character more at the time.

I remember doing the Know Your History special event in Modern Warfare: Warzone, flying the helicopter to go meet Frank Woods as Captain Price and this song starting to play. It was fucking beautiful. At the end, Frank Woods hands you his rifle which was called The Bay of Pigs. I still use that since it’s such a neat yet simple rifle. The gun represented the simpler times when the campaigns for Black Ops were engaging plus the zombies and multiplayer were addicting.

To me, BO2 will be peak COD for me. It only felt like it went downhill after that as I got older and reminisced all the fun online matches and creative story that came only with this game. Sure I wasn’t a fan of the branching story for a game like COD, but the more I look back at it the more I realize that the ambition they had for this project was so the series wouldn’t begin to burn us out with the same games year after year. I bought bo2 recently since i havent played it awhile and the serve were working again and i finally finished the campaign and its so good and emotional when you do the good ending cause David mason and Alex mason meet after a long time and it was a great sense

MW2019 was awesome, Cold War had great zombies and meh multiplayer. BO3 had good zombies if you bought dlc. Outside of those 3, it’s all horrible. Sadly, I grew up with MW3, so I barely know the glory days of COD. COD Mobile is better than this Vanguard piece of shit. Fuck Activision, I pray to god that the next COD is MW2 2022, and just as good as MW2019.

@@crowsified eh mw19 was plagued with awful map design and horrible weapon balancing, the sped ops also sucked and the campaign was mediocre at best. also the multiplayer was super campy and it was designed that way on purpose, even the developers said so
