you also didnt add that you can cloud game almost every game on gamepass, with gamepass ultimate you dont have to worry about storage space you can play right off the cloud, i havent had issue with cloud gaming its a super smooth transition so if they put all cod on with cloud gaming you can play every cod without downloading ever

On game pass, there is an upgraded option to get the full game. It's usually 20 bucks or less and on the old games you usually get all dlc when you install the game. Personally I have a xbox series s and game pass ultimate (15.99) I buy madden and call if duty every year and those two games take up most of my hard drive. Gamepass ultimate comes with cloud play so I play the newer series x/s (next gen) games on cloud and all of the old games are playable on my external hard drive so I literally have access to hundreds of games with minimal storage issues.

I’m sure they’ll have some kind of Ultimate Edition Upgrade for BO6 that Game Pass Users can buy to get the bonus skins and blueprints, and the season 1 battle pass, as well as the Campaign and Zombies Early Access. And it’ll probably cost much less than buying the Ultimate Edition of the game.

Gamepass is gonna have the base game for all platforms. If you’re on Xbox One you’re gonna get the 60fps version, if you’re on Series X/S you’re gonna get the X/S version (you won’t be able to choose the cross Gen bundle so no external HDD gameplay) and I definitely can see them not giving us access to the beta unless you pre-order. Honestly it’s not a bad move

I usually play BO2 on Plutonium but I hopped on my Xbox to see how it's going and to be honest there were far less hackers than there used to be. I played for about 4 hours and ran into 2 hackers. I think the Jiggy infections are finally beginning to lose their luster but the game still isn't fully clean unfortunately.

I already had zero interest in purchasing this game because Treyarch is making it, now this just further reinforces not purchasing this game. Microsoft, Activision and the Developers have done nothing and will do nothing to improve the quality of life of COD. Can't wait for Ubisoft to release XDefiant on May 21st. Only COD that will be worth anything is COD 2026 and that's if everything from MWII and MWIII carry forward into Infinity Ward's game in 2026 including Modern Warfare Zombies.

In my opinion a good buisness strategy for xbox to make sales on cod, is to release cod at full price at launch, but they add it to gamepass on like 2 or 3 months after it's released, so those who want cod immediately you pay full price, or you can wait till it releases on gamepass and get it basically free for the patient people

Also, I think AAA is the wrong way of looking at Game Pass. Some of the best indies have been on it. Since it's accessible from PC, Phone, and Console it has a lot of value. I look at games in this manor. If I have to pay $70 for a game, I first ask myself if I can get 70 hours of entertainment out of it. If yes, then it's acceptable. If I spend $204/year on GP Ultimate and my family gets 1000s of hours of entertainment out of it, then yeah it's a great deal! Also, I like how Microsoft isn't locking it behind Xbox services and leaving the option to just purchase it for the console of your choice. Having that choice is important.
