As a Fortnite player, COD cosmetics does not lure me to the game, it makes it look terrible. If I wanted to play COD, which I do every now and then, I would never buy the stupid cosmetics. COD should stick to what made it popular in the first place, realism with arcade shooter gameplay in the multiplayer. I have BO6, and I have yet to try it out. I think I will at some point, I hear the Campaign is good.

There is one single thing that truly ruined COD and no one seems to mention it... It's not SBMM or terrible maps... It all went down hill when they introduced Tactical Sprinting. The game quickly changed to who can move quicker at an unrealistic pace and slide rather than old school COD of who had better aim and map positiong.

I used to play BO6 solo and it was unplayable for me. I found myself scrolling through the modes and didn't enjoy a single gamemode. Every match is spawntrapping, de-sync, the maps are horrendous and the list goes on. Loving Killing Floor 2 at the moment!

BO6 is the most fun I've had with a CoD Multiplayer since MW3 (2011), especially in Faceoff, maybe it's because I'm camo grinding but I've always loved the super small super fast maps, i'm also hardwired instead of on wifi and on a PS5 so i dont ever really have any connection issues. As for the Bundles literally just don't buy them, I don't understand why people complain about Bundles, they are strictly cosmetic, I vastly prefer the way things are now where the only thing behind a pay wall is cosmetics now vs how it used to be where maps, actual game content had to be paid extra for, back in the day if I wanted the whole game it was $60 + $15 × 4 for each map pack, now it's $70 and I get all the actual playable content, how is that not better?

I feel you man, it’s the manipulation that’s really taking the fun out. Never connecting with people in your own region, the constant loop of one or 2 good games followed by 3 or 4 CDL level sweatfests. Skill based matchmaking is literally the foundation of all issues with COD currently, from lag, desync, bad hit reg. They REFUSE to put you on the ideal server based on your ping and connection. The ping indicator is total nonsense, I’ll show anywhere from single digit to low 20ms ping and still lag and desync with bullets around corners. It’s sad that this is the only decent competitive shooter on the market, we need more options.

10v10 is the only playable game mode next to Nuketown 24/7. Also they don't even care about the quality of the bundles. CoD used to be so fun when you’d get random lobbies For me it was like 30% destroying with a 5+ K/D, 50% competitive games where the opponents were good enough to make the game close and you finish with a 2-3 K/D, and 20% of the time you get matched against really good players and you have to sweat a bit just to win the match and carry a 1.5+ k/d And it was fun that way. If you got tired of a sweaty lobby or clan after a few games you could change lobbies and keep having fun. Now they got their algorithm to maximize player retention and spending and while it may be good for earnings it certainly isn’t as fun as the OG games

It’s the most frustrating cod I’ve ever played. It feels like there’s a built in algorithm to keep every game close. I swear once you get on a killstreak they purposely spawn someone behind you or add packet loss to get you killed. Just today playing a match of 10v10 hardpoint we’re up by a lot and half my team “leaves” and we end up losing. I thought it was complete BS when people brought up bots in multiplayer but I believe it.

I caved and bought bo6 last week, to me it’s better than mw3 but that’s not saying much. Bo6 just not fun at all, too sweaty and the game just punishes you if you do pop off in a game, next game will be full of plat ranked cdl skins with dark matter krigs or pp919’s spawn trapping your bot teammates. Desync issues every game. Teammate collision is pretty annoying too.

I just don't get what everyone's bitching about. I see the whole skill base matchmaking thing, but I'm still in the top three all the time. Just because there's a system in place doesn't mean you can't dominate it and still play better than everyone else that is on the same SBMM as you. At the end of the day it has made me a better player. I'm sure there is some of that stuff to help casuals, but the whole shooting people and things not registering thing just doesn't occur. Exactly same damn experience for me with this game. For couple of matches me and my friends we talk and laugh and have fun and then everyone quiet for one or two games and time to say good bye for tonight. Before cold war we used to play hours and hours and we were having fun most of the time, and yes, mw2019 was enjoyable for me. Now the multiplayer is just non stop spawn-die sweat fest and all players are mean to each other, the whole community is so toxic man. Zombie mode is really fun tho, and the zombies community is way different. Feels like they are whole different people lol

All i have done is play zombies. Grinding the camos and calling card challenges has been fun and high round grinding with a few friends has been a fun nostalgia trip. The multiplayer is hot garbage, SBMM has ruined the experience for me. Warzone is broken beyond belief and isnt a fun experience so overall its not worth the money, only reason im palying it at all is because its on game pass. You're 100% right about it and im glad you're continuing to upload content from the best CODs. You have a lifetime subscriber in me 👍

The SBMM makes getting high kill streaks impossible anyways. If the goal is to keep your KD at 1.0. You will never find a lobby that allows to push past that number. It’s monotonous. Call of duty just blows now. No matter what they do, it’s always gonna feel terrible.

mw3 2023 was the last one i played for mp, i did play a bit of mp in bo6 but only because a friend asked, and as expected, false gaming sweats bunny hopping and abusing op weapons as always, so after i finished playing with my friend, i went straight back to zombies. too many sweats and meta loadout these days, really i don't even care about mp that much anymore which is a shame cause 5 years ago, that is all i played.

5:13 - 5:51 is the BIGGEST problem with sbmm. It is so frustrating. Also SBMM ruined content creation. Whenever people get decent gameplays it gets downvoted because ‘botlobbies’ which is completely valid because it is hard to get ‘good‘ gameplays against good players. So a big reason people watch cod youtube is for personality. And there are only a few big ones of those, like Jev and Fortunate.

Black Ops 6 is the first modern COD game I’ve played and I’m loving it. People have been talking about the SBMM boogeyman but I truly haven’t even felt it that bad. I vividly remember in OG MW2, you’d play against sweats one game and then get a nuke the next. I wonder if for yearly players it’s just fatigue. I mean, I remember hearing MW2 (2022) was the worst COD game, and then MW3 was the worst, and then suddenly MW2 was underrated and it just seems like the COD cycle

So my wife started playing cod with me recently and it's her first time playing cod multiplayer so effectively I am 2boxing when I play with her and I'm still losing... I went 49 and 8 on a TDM match and still lost! This game literally doesn't want you to win if you are a slightly competent player. It's soooo bad!

I know why it sucks. 1. old cod’s used to revolve around kd and getting kill streaks. It’s how players flexed on one another and had fun. On bo6 my kd is pointless because the higher it is the worse the game will be. Also it’s very difficult to get a kill streak if you try because the game punishes you for doing good. Perks like the scan specialist and vigilance, there’s one that tells the enemy if you are on a kill streak and your location bruh. 2. Cosmetics and battlepass are ruining the game. What happened to playing to earn, that’s what a £60 game is all about. Bo6 has that classic issue of not having any skins to earn, all skins and blueprints are locked behind a paywall. Any skins you can earn are always bad looking compared to the payed content. Bo2 had a camo grind and nothing else. I remember not a lot of ppl even doing the grind. I came back yrs later and players still didn’t have diamond

now that they fixed 2boxing, im out for good. It was the last counteraction against rigged matchmaking. I dont even want to play just bots, give me a ping based experience with a natural lobby. Not the 0.1% of Sweats in the EU with Packet Bursts and Ping Issues. Matchmaking without a bot takes me 1-2 minutes every time, because lil Timmy doesnt buy the bong mastercraft camo pack if he sees a Prestige Master in his Lobby. Used to grind solo from Mw2 till Bo4 without having to reverse boost etc. Not enjoyable anymore

The problem for me is i WISH i had sbmm with enemys as good as me. I only get better players. always strictly better players. no one in my teams gets to a 1kd while the other team got 2-3 Kds for everyone. I always get matched up with better players and get my ass beat its crazy.

Idk if you guys remember when RuneScape turned into RuneScape 3. Same thing happened. They started pushing pay to play, and going against the will of the players in every single aspect of the game. Today, that game is completely dead. The only thing still alive relating to that game, is old school RuneScape, which is a literal copy and paste old version of the game that people actually enjoyed.

I played to much and got one assault rifle gold now I have 3 and I can’t stop until they’re diamond. The spawns suck and the maps have to many sight lines and I keep getting shot from behind but I’m over 1000 eliminations over deaths so I don’t get as pissed as before. I’ll probably stop after the diamond grind. Damn I miss the good old days

I agree with a tonne of what you say here man (except the new maps, I've found those to be fine weirdly lol) One thing I want to add - the skins and bundles this year ruined the art style of the game IMMEDIATELY, so hard I honestly dont feel the 90s aesthetic at all. Whats the point in spending 4 years working on some really decent 90s throwback outfits and weapons, only to destroy that vibe week 1 with glowing skins, zombies and shark-men?

I appreciate the realness bro. I was lucky to enjoy mw2, bops 1, mw3 and bops 2 in my peak teenage years. I still go back to them if I wanna chill out and have fun. It’s oddly relaxing. Shame I’m in Aus and get a lot of red bar though. Still more fun than any new cod imo. I love the flow and pace of old cods, and playing with new guns and attachments. I love the simplicity of it, and how it feels.

I just have no desire to play solo because SBMM makes it tough to not die so much, and can’t play multiplayer because I’m a higher skill level than my friends so they get matched up with guys much higher skill. I also just don’t have time to train to compete with the movement demons

EDIT: If they gave us an option to disable skill based matchmaking and in return we sacrifice half of our xp earned id gladly take it because id play the game WAY MORE At least Cold War had redeemable qualities such as Fire Team Dirty Bomb and large maps to play on for the casual fan base. The only game mode I am somewhat enjoying is zombies. I’m going for nebula but the worst part and sad reality is I’ll get these cool camos and I’ll never be able to use them in the game because the multiplayer is so unplayable . SBMM has me getting rolled every game. I’m going negative every game alit feels like and I’m getting shit on. For clarification I’m not a bad player I was top 500 in the world at Advanced Warfare and top 300 in Ranked play. So it sounds like frustrating that I’m experiencing this. Am I good as I was when I was 14-17? No and that’s ok because I’m an adult now and have other priorities. But I wanna just be able to play a game and enjoy it for the brief moment I have. I’m tired of everyone using the same meta weapon and class setups. I’m tired of everyone thinking they can be a streamer and feel pressured to do good for there 2 viewers. I’m tired of streamers in general. Im fed up with the blatant cheating in the game. A PC player should not be able to use a controller to play the game. That is textbook cheating. If you wanna play on Pc great. But you have to use MnK. You already have a 2x-3x more powerful rig. Why do you need aim assist? You’re able to turn your graphics quality all the way down to get rid of all the trash and clutter and shrubbery. I’m tired of nuketown and more tired of pretending any various of nuketown outside of BO2 plays well. I’m tired of the funny business that goes on that causes me to need 7 bullets to kill someone but another person only needing 3. Tired of the entire game being catered to Warzone.

I am with you 100% team deathmatch and kill confirm it's like playing domination now the respawns are horrible. Start lighting the player up with 20 bullets play turn around and kill you with one shot multiplayer is real bad in this game .

I haven't checked out of CoD after I pre-ordered ghosts. I haven't played since. I got to experience "golden era CoD" and I'm thankful for that, but they were never able to recreate the magic after MW3. After that you could see them grasping at straws for new interesting ideas when definitively the community was asking for the old formula. And once the micro transaction cosmetics, battle passes, SBMM, EOMM, very mid to outright bad maps, mid to non-existent solo play, the franchise is dead. They'll still be able to get the kids that don't know better and have their parents credit cards, but for that amount of free time I have I couldn't imagine a bigger waste of time and money than playing modern CoD.

I am enjoying myself. I bought the game a week ago, and i just hit first prestige today. Im a 1.8kd player, and sbmm punishes me from time to time, but it isn't as bad as an IW title. I decided to go for dark matter last night, and ive already got 2 guns gold. XM4 and the AK.
