Am I the only person who actually likes when Cod does "What if" weapons like the Saug. I prefer having most of the guns in the game be modeled/based off real weapons but I like the idea that there are weapons in the game that we never knew even existed IRL because only Black Ops forces used them

The Krig empty reload feels like a modernized Peacemaker, that traditional BO rifle reload The Saug animations also feel like a remake of BO4 style, and was made tacticool and up-to-date by MW19 styles

you can double tap left dpad to inspect now, it was mentioned in controls before season 1 but it just didn’t even work lol

the saug has a bolt catch but the bolt doesn't lock back when empty. It's just like the Krig 6 empty reload situation again

I’m afraid to say this but 2042 still probably had the best reload for a FNC variant rifle today. The mag tap on partial reload really got me freaky and the fact that it actually had a working bolt catch.

I love how the Krig C has an incorrectly modelled bolt catch, the real AK5 did not have one, but it actually animated correctly. And I do also believe that the AK5 did retain the last round hold open from the FNC, which is also not implemented properly.

For example, snipers would camouflage their rifles with netting and foliage to make their rifle not stand out in the environment to maintain concealment. Same goes for the arms and body camo + face paint. Of course camo has limits too, not to mention how thermal optics these days can easily spot certain camos

@@rosaria8384 Yes but this still doesn't explain why he painted his arms too, Especially since leaving skin exposed means you did it wrong, literally the first thing they taught me about camouflage when i was in boot camp. On top of that, the human mind has a specific set of skills used for recognizing human faces, so that's a given... But arms? Sounds Overkill to me, especially because in humid environments all kinds of insects would have a feast with your exposed arms anyway.

The SAUG’s standard empty reload without attachment feels… weird? Like the “rhythm” of the reload feels off lol. Other than that though, neat little details with the Akimbo empty reload alongside the magazine catch being animated with the AK5.

its not a clean reload, the mag hits the outside of the magwell which adds a bit of a sutter to the flow as youre anticipating a smooth transition

Idk why the need to add the SAUG SMG, which is fictional, when there are plenty of compact guns they could’ve used. Off the top of my head would be the MAC10/11 or even the Skorpion, both of which were in BO1. Just a weird inclusion in my opinion.

​​@@Cyber-1445Well at least it's not BO4 Saug where it's always open bolt and has a bolt release. This has been a thing since BO3 where fast mags gave a lot of guns a bolt release despite the bolt clearly not locking back on empty.
