You are looking for suggestions about the war in Ukraine from a "different" perspective? Perhaps with some "step back" from the front line? Well here's another trip to Eastern Europe for you which will be safe and will tell a lot: Come and talk to that very edge of NATO! There is a lot happening with the Boys and Girls at the border between Poland and Bielorusia / Ukraine. And Nope, they aren't always soldiers. 3 ways you could get a ton of content: 1) Talk to the Police Forces in Poland who have been required to do weekend patrols every few weeks at the borders since 2022. Any Police Dept in Poland will answer these questions because they ALL had to provide people.. You will hear horror stories I will not share here. 2) Go do an interview with a company like Helikon-Tex. They will provide you with stories. 3) And for fun, go sit at the Rzeszów pizzeria close to the airport for one day. And talk to the people. You'll hear about the daily NATO stuff even my friends in private transport cies aren't allowed to talk about...;-) Gloire et patrie!

You are an willfully ignorant a******: Get off your sorry ass and buy a Collegiate Webster's dictionary; then use it s*******!!! The dictionary will give you a phonetic rendering of every word you will use in your videos!! Example: the city in Uganda to which you referred is pronounced N-Tehb-E, NOT N-Tah-Bay. Please pull your head out of your ass, get with the freaking program, and stop acting like a complete willfully ignorant dumbass! I graduated high school with a Low C- GPA (2.23), so my condemnation of your willful ignorance does not arise from some President's list, A+ 4.0 GPA smug prick's point of view! All I'm asking for is basic frigging competence!! Every time you willfully mispronounced something that is easily understood by a simple reference in a dictionary makes you look like a dumbass, somebody who is not a professional, someone who is not serious about the work he is doing!! Step up and do the work, or find something else to make a living at doing: you're just simply an embarrassment at your current work ethic.

I was part of a detachment that directly responded to the incident you covered that happened in Kenya. 1: The air base you showed is not the one that was hit. The place that was attacked was much smaller and a couple km either north or south of the map you showed. 2: The Army SPC that died was killed when his unarmored SUV was directly hit by an RPG. He never fired a single shot and died in the vehicle. 3: The MARSOC dudes that responded didn’t get there for about an hour. The base they were located at was a couple miles away from the airfield. 4: The entire disaster is the sole fault of the Air Force and the incompetence of the Air Force Security Forces. The Air force people there literally abandoned their defensive positions, leaving crew served machine guns behind while they ran and hid behind a Kenyan checkpoint a mile away. Had they even tried to fight back the two pilots would still be alive.

Believe the firefight was going on for hours prior to that, they were almost all wounded, and they were quickly running out of time and options before their position was overrun. Interesting how that could be an incredible movie, but there’s no US military fuck up to cover up, so few will ever know about it.

Sorry you lost him. All the dudes I lost were either murdered (Blue on Blue, RIP SPC Diego Valbuena; PFC Thomas, killed while on leave) or suicides, like PFC Patrick May. May is a key example of why I distrust the media, because they patently refused to call it what it was. It was a tragedy that could have been leveraged to save lives, but they swept it under the rug.

The attack in Somalia at around 20 minutes. The crew chief (not sure of the army term) of the mortar team that responded to that has a gaming channel on KZbin and recently posted his go pro footage with added DOD footage of the battle. Including the fire missions they sent out and the effects.

I seen that video they took way longer then they should have to launch thoes mortar rounds even the guy with the go pro video who was there said it wasn't their best performance but they did destroy the enemy and if they didn't have that ditch Infront of that base that explosion was big enough too destroy that whole base

Africa doesn't need US military presence as it seems very imperialistic, maybe free trade agreements, and Foregn direct investments will be a better strategy towards the continent.

Hey man - I really like these shows but especially the detail and humour. I’m not a vet, graduated basic but I was a quitter at OSUT (split ops with NG - basic one summer, job training the next - had the luckiest opportunity of changing my MOS from 91G to 11B) back in 2013 with a Chapter 5-17. 10 later, I’m still in regret on what could’ve been and have no self respect. These videos in a way help me use the very little training and jargon I knew to keep my mind engaged in something. Much love from a Tiny Heart Syndrome fan ❤

Hey. No need to drag yourself down like that. I was 'just' a radio repair guy (94E, Radio/ComSec repair and maintenance). You still swore the oath and tried to do your part; most can't even begin to do that. If nothing else, I thank you for trying. Benning (Fort Moore, now) was no joke when I went through in July-Oct 2007; at least one Drill became a heat casualty. To be honest, Baghdad was a joy in comparison, though southern Oregon is worse in the summer than Georgia.

Hey man, listen. Your channel has done some good work in makings obscure military overreach accessible to the masses. I think it's really important that you get sponsors that aren't in the business of furthering that overreach. The ethical issues of that are serious enough that you know what the endstate of that is.

Great that T&P finally has some coverage on this. What is appalling is that the US Army still refuses to credit soldiers who take part in these operations with combat tour credit, nor permit them to wear the Shoulder Sleeve Insignia - Former Wartime Service (aka combat patch).

Love the report. I didn't know much of this. - BTW, you mispronounced En-teb-bee. Entebbe airport is the same one where the Israelis rescued the hostages from an Air France highjacked flight in 1976. There are a couple of movies made about that rescue.

There is a guy on this platform (I don't have his name) who was part of a mortar squad that put shells on the ditches. I may be wrong but I think he put a shell on the VBIED and thats why it blew up where it was, but the rest of the strikes were farther away due to command.
