Great story. The journey of a thousand miles starts with these small, small tentative beginnings. One thing, I want to point out, this is a food processing factory but none of all its employees are suitably attired. They should wear head covers, disposable gloves and face masks at least. Health and Safety standards should be observed in such companies. Some of the practices left me uneasy. Otherwise bravo Champion Foods. Now give Innscor a run for their money - a white run company that is feeding Africans GMOs. We hope Champion Foods will not sacrifice its ethical principle of not using GMOs for the sake of profit.

Great to see locals getting into the milling industry. Previously dominated by Spillers milling Rhodesian milling company, Palte Harris and Wightmans later to become Blue Ribbon Foods. But nyaya ye GMOs the less said about that the better. There's been so much cross pollination of crops its extremely difficult to say what is and what is not contaminated.
