Industrialisation In Rural Zimbabwe.

In rural Zimbabwe a man call Mr Tsakundwa has moved his engineering company from Harare to Rural Bonyogwe because he wanted to go farming. So to be able to farm he decided to relocate his family and relocate his factory to the rural area of Bonyongwe when he manufactures heavy duty stoves, grills, chip-makers, banmaries, shop fridges and hose, axes, rakes, door frames, window, hospital beds, delivery beds, school furniture and many other iron industrial products.
He also built a school for his children to attend in the rural community. By so doing he was able to offer the rural community good school that teaches children entrepreneurship. At this school they produce soap and produce many other products i.e. pork, chicken that is grown on the farm where Mr Tsakundwa lives. And he teaches children how to work with their hands and earn an income without depending on jobs being created by other people.

Now this is what I call progress. If we all start to do similar projects in our respective rural areas, the economic recovery will speed up. Also as an incentive I heard the government will give 5 years tax free rebates for rural industrialization.

The best thing we could have done since 1980 was to require by law that every company or business takes 5 % of its employees, with O'levels as apprentices for 3 years. The government contributes half the salary. Those who go to A'levels and qualify go to university and colleges. From the ages of 16 to 25 we would have had a highly skilled workforce and educated generation after generation. Those who finish their apprentiship with 19/20 years could qualify in their field of experience, to go to colleges and universities, if they wish so. Now most a vendors.

Apprenticeship was huge up until the economy nosedived n many companies closed down..Delta Group had one of the biggest apprenticeship programs.
