I have been holding my breath for 48 minutes!!! What a wonderful video. Voice, accent, manners, music, colors, the panther itself, all the explanations and the final results. Yes, that is how magic is created.

One of the most artistically beautiful teaching videos I have ever seen. You sir are an inspiration to create works of art that push you through the tough times I think every artist has encountered and achieve an outcome that perhaps we did not think were possible. Thank you for the encouragement and the wisdom that helps to develop the right mind set so we can aspire to achieve the beauty of nature that surrounds us and put it to paper. Made me see a deeper aspect to my art. Makes me understand that my art is not just a testament to my skill, but my to my character as well. 🤗

The entire work is brilliant, genuinely, but I have to say your imagined rocks are incredible. All I can say is _wow!_ I would be very interested in DVDs (providing they will play on US region machines) or digital downloads of your full-length process.

Thank you Andrew. I will certainly be making one. I filmed an entire tiger painting last March, but unfortunately my external Hard drive became corrupted and I lost all of the data, so that set me back a while, but a new one will be coming.

Eric you dont know how pleased I am to have found you at last, I saw your exhibition at Buxton Pavilion a couple of years ago at least, (quite local to me) and was in awe of your art, I stayed a long time looking at the unbelievable detail and hoped to meet you as from that day you became my favourite artist, I scoured your website and searched in vain for other local exhibitions of your work in the hope of seeing your work up close again, I have searched for you many times online on different sites and surprise surprise today you pop up in my feed. I will spend the weekend watching your uploads and cant wait to see your next fabulous work. Carol

Just fabulous Eric - so many great tips here. I'm 100% interested in instructions for big cat series (you know I'm a bit obsessed with tigers and it would do me good to try something else). Also great to see someone else who remembers the test card on TV :) Thanks for the effort involved to put it all together x

Hi Eric Luv your art and luv using pastel pencils. I can't come to terms with the powdery backgrounds, so tend to leave alone. Thought of using a watercolour wash background instead. like to hear your thoughts. Bob
@ericwilsonfineart4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bob! I get it regarding the dusty backgrounds. If you work on pastelmat you are ok to use paints on your background. Watercolour or acrylics are fine, just leave it to fully dry before adding pastels.

Thank you so much for another fantastic video‼️ I always learn something new from each one. (Love your sense of humour for the intro & ending.) I would be very interested in any instructional videos but not in DVD format. I don’t have a TV/DVD close to my art space. A format that is downloadable to computer or iPad would be the only kind I would purchase because that is what I have in my art “studio”.

Your an incredible artist!! Just beautiful work! I would be interested in some of the video instructional tape you were speaking of. Could you tell me what type of pastels you are using? Would you recommend these for someone just learning to use them?
@ericwilsonfineart3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Mary. If you take a look at my video 'Painting an African Elephant in pastel' you will see me describe the pastels I use there, and yes, beginner or professional, those are the pastels I like.

Eric, this is so inspiring... had to view it more than once 🤣. Your work is quite something, as is your dedication to your art! Would be very interested in your big cats tutorials, especially if they could be made available internationally (eg online download). We’d need to find a way 😌. Wishing you much prosperity in future pieces!

Hi I love this video its so inspiring and your techniques are amazing. The fur looks so soft and the stones so realistic. I wanted to ask if you seal your work? And if what do you use? I never found anything that didn't ruin pastel work ^^` I'll look forward to more work from you :>
