I’m glad the key return clack on your Dx7 is just as loud as mine. There’s a return felt that needs to be replaced after 40 years and I’m dreading removing every key from the key bed to do it

Yeah, this is my "stunt" DX7 which has lived a rough life. My other two are mint, and the action is nice and quiet ;-)

Nice follow up! Just one question, on the other video you compared it to the Standtastic and said the Standtastic could accommodate larger, more deep keyboards and the black panther was better suited for normal depth keyboards - was that correct? Or does mounting it correctly also allows for a better angle on the third tier?

That's still correct - depths and measurements are all still the same. The Standtastic is still much better suited for bigger, heavier, deeper boards, especially if you like steeper angles. 👍🏻

Just curious, I don't see the 3rd Wave in some of your recent videos, did you decide not to keep it? I got the desktop version.. I will never part ways with this synth :)

Yes, I let it go, but just temporarily as I needed to raise funds for continuing to build Arcade Orchestra. I absolutely love that synth but I just don't need it right now… I have all of those flavors covered elsewhere. I'll get another one as soon as I'm able!
