A lot of people, including reactors, talk about Ren's health issues as things he WENT through. He's still going through them. It's not in the past. He's still suffering from 2 extremely debilitating and incurable, chronic illnesses and a whole host of associated conditions and illnesses. He's still extremely allergic to most food. He's still on a severely restricted diet, meaning he has virtually the same meal every mealtime, often liquidised to make sure it stays down. He still has adhd, ptsd and chronic depression. He still has brain 'fogs'. He has brain damage, nerve damage, damage to his bones, joints and internal organs and is in near constant pain, which is frequently chronic! Although things have improved from the times where he was bedridden for almost 7 years, he's still incredibly ill. His health problems are not in the past. They're not something he WENT through. They're something Ren's still going through and, unless cures are found, are something that he'll be going through for the rest of his life. The Mast Cell Disease is particularly worrying, as it's progress can't be arrested. It can only be slowed. We need to remember that when we 'see' Ren, we're seeing him on one of his "good" days.

As a Welsh boyo.. that has lived, ate, drank rens music for the last couple of months. I was so looking forward to the unreleased tracks. When I heard this track with the Welsh intro... Fuck bro!! Like I haven't resonated enough. I'm glad we're all lucky enough to be living in this reniverse. Especially in a time where we really need an artist shift.. to make us really smile.. cause I believe that some people have forgotten how to do so over the last few years.. no fault of their own. Big peace and love to everyone out there. Whether your lucky enough to have been blessed with this music master piece or not... I truly believe everyone will be that lucky soon enough. This song hit me hard. I was listening to it for the first time with my 16 year old. They didn't make it through the intro before they started crying. It was a year ago that day that my child was rushed to the ICU & we found out they had the same cancer I am in remission from. Ren's music has been something of a haven after the past year we've had. When the song Hi Ren started getting played all over KZbin our house had just been hit by a tornado while we were inside it, & I can't emphasize how much it helped. I still can't listen to the end of that song without crying, & I'm willing to bet it'll be the same with this one.

From pain makes growth, unless the pain is unrelenting. I am very glad that Ren is getting better. I do get some relief just listening to Ren. After 5 failed spine surgeries, then a virus that hit my spinal cord, kidney issues causing cysts and stones. No hope offered. I am old but not so old I will die soon, so pain medication is never enough. Like so many Ren followers, I am caught into a propetual, unrelenting hell. The hardest part is that my husband passed from cancer almost 3 years ago. So I am alone in my life, in my pain and in my mind. I understand Ren on a level most do not. Thank you, BP, for your Ren breakdowns. Always good. ❤❤

Sue, you are NOT alone in yr pain. I have a connective tissue disorder that causes intense pain, dislocations, etc...plus depression, autism spectrum disorder... And am currently trying to ease my ex-wife's battle with cancer (stage IV metastatic breast cancer, in just 1 month most growths doubled, plus migrated to masses on ovary, lymph node, & pineal gland in the brain). This is the person with whom I wanted so badly to enjoy the rest of my life, but our marriage couldn't survive what turned out to be the psychological effects of her illness (all while dealing with my own illness). Why can't I take her cancer for her. This song and MANY of Ren's songs are a start. I don't know what to do... just know I am so angry at God. Thought we were never supposed to be given more than we can overcome. I am drowning (remember Sick Boi) in pain, regret, anger, sorrow, depression, failure... Sure as hell not drowning in hope. But I do hope you can somehow get on top of your pain/issues. You certainly aren't alone in the larger sense, but I know this is true of myself; doesn't mean I feel AT ALL supported in the moment. Keep pushing.

My husband and I were going to celebrate our 33rd anniversary the same day he was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. He only lived another 7.5 weeks. He wanted to come home, so we went home. Hospice eased his pain until he passed, just 11 short days before his 67th bd. I will pray for your wife and for you. These matters are never easy. Keep the faith and thank you for sharing. ❤️
