Black people are dealing with evil and wickedness and that trauma of our ancestors is still in our DNA. Rape is in our DNA. Whites women corrupting the Black Panther’s party or causing multiple massacres claiming black men assaulted or merely whistled at them. And then on the otherside is having to live a lie of passing. And now bleaching and in some cases vain reasons like ending racism by procreating to have a child with a European or African descended particularly. This is the consequence of White Supremacy’s evil and wickedness. It should just be about souls loving another soul. Some even acting superior to other (the congolese, its always them). Even more the ones who have been educated like the one from the big cities, always partying, bad degree at school, always smoking or drinking, abuse of power. William says, "I feel like Asian women are trying to be the white women of America, and they're not realizing that they're also in marginalized communities, just as we are." No offense to the "white women of America", but why would Asian women want to be the white women of America? That's almost like he's saying white people are better so everyone wants to be like them. Of course, there is nothing wrong with white people; they are awesome just like any other type of person. But the way he says it really bothers me. "Marginalized" is defined by Oxford Languages as "(of a person, group, or concept) treated as insignificant or peripheral." There is no group of people that is insignificant or peripheral. Unfortunately, many people are treated as so. We Asians actually do realize that sometimes we are marginalized, but we just don't let it bother us, unlike some other people. Plus, most communities, like mine, treat Asians equally and without marginalization. So maybe reconsider getting a better community. Alexus adds on, saying, "Especially Asians that are born into American culture. It seems like they're just pretty much white, and they don't have any empathy for other minorities." FALSE. This lady clearly has never had friends that were true and honorable Asians. Again, I'm not saying that being like white people is bad, but as Asians, we like and respect our ethnicity, so why would we want to be "pretty much white"? Besides, how would you know if Asians had empathy for other minorities? That's a pretty bold assumption. Whoever knows a real Asian also knows that they would never be "pretty much white".

I was raised in a neighbourhood with many different colours and cultures and raised under two parents who had the same job. I did not know racism/sexism was a thing until I was taught it was a thing. I am very fortunate to be brought up with love and perspective. I have to wonder, though, what is the threshold that speaking about our differences is just our culture. I enjoy these conversations, but sometimes I reflect because I was taught to love everyone and at the very least I was ignorant enough to believe everyone around me did the same. If we keep talking about racism, our kids will keep learning that it exists... But if we stop talking about it, we won't solve what is clearly still very real today. It seems like a sad loop that I hope the kind of conversations in this video help end one day.

The stereotype is that non black women are considered more submissive and tolerate more. She was going to say easier to control or deal with in a way. Y'all ask black people the same question every video and every time there is a discussion with a group of black folk. There is far more to black culture and the black community than these questions about policing and interracial dating. Although they are important topics they are not the only important topics. The black community's relationship with the rest of the world is not always negative we did a lot in the world culturally, economically, and socially. As a darker skin Asian woman, I can confirm I faced colorism from light skin Asians. My mom always told me to be proud of the skin I’m in, but to be aware that others will look down on me because I’m darker, and not just from white people, but from other Asians, because even when she was growing up light skin was considered “cleaner” and “prettier” . I used to be called dirty because I have very dark knee and elbows. Now with that said, I also saw how much worst black people were treated and still are. And anyone who’s says that they don’t notice that, is either a liar or it’s something that simple doesn’t bother them or effect them (some privileged white people continue to pretend racism doesn’t exist, and that they don’t see color, lol) unless you’re blind you can clearly see we all have different skin tones, acknowledge that everyone is different but treat everyone how you want to be treated, with kindness and respect.

Honestly, these are the types of people that are the problem. Calling interracial marriages "disgusting"... if the relationship is disgusting, then what are the kids? They call Asians basically white (they go through troubles too, I have friends that are Asian who would speak on them). They count on the police when in trouble but are the same ones to say F them. Jubilee please get some better people, or at least get some alternate viewpoints rather than the same types of people with the same answers.

Omg EXACTLY. Thank you for pointing out Asians facing discrimination too! People apparently don’t think it’s a thing. This isn’t to compare discrimination on either side, but I feel like Asian discrimination doesn’t get mentioned as often because people focus on the “positive stereotypes”. As you said in my comment, thank you for saying this! It’s nice to have people who understand each other! 😊

U make an excellent point. Julibies point of the vid it to make people vulnerable so they say more out of pocket things. It's just makes u think about what they wouldn't say had there been lights on

Black "Americans" is the operative word. I swear most black people outside of America don't think like this.

As a white gay person who does want to date outside my race, but hasn't yet, it IS disheartening to hear a fellow LGBT person call inter-racial dating "disgusting." But that's his true feelings, and that's the point of Mask Off. I can tell, tho I can TELL, something happened in his past that scared him, bad, and that's why he's tryna avoid it at all costs.

Agreed. I think most of these people are just hurt. I'm black and I disagree with most of what they said.
