Hello, I am a new subscriber, and a fairly new soaper! I think your the cupcake Queen! Your work is awesome! I must tell you a short story. When I was a small girl my father hired a couple from the UK to work for our family. At first the gentleman came to work as our gardener and she followed as our cook. They were a couple from our church, who lived in town and missed the countryside, they must have been in their 50's at the time. Ms. Kay, as we kids called her, was wise and loving, and cooked us wonderful meals, and Mr. John was a wonderful spirit and source of comfort when our Dad was away on business. I say all that to tell you, your voice is so comforting to me, it reminds me of Ms. Kay's. They were with our family for 20 years and I grew to love them for the wonderful influence they were in my life. Ms.Kay would get to work at 5 am and be there till after 6 pm after dinner. I always felt a twinge bad for her long hours, but I learned as I became a young lady that they loved us too, we were family. They needed us as much as we needed them! Had to share as your voice just floods my mind with many special memories!

I absolutely LOVE your videos! I watch you all the time. If I'm home I have KZbin playng on my TV in the background as I go about my day and you are always popping on. I get SOO happy when I hear your beautiful voice and accent (I'm From Pennsylvania, USA) come on the TV. I usually will go and watch and get sucked into TV LAND for a few mins while you're on. Your products are some of the most beautiful creations that I've seen. Thank You Soo much for putting them out there for everyone to see. I am in the process of starting my own business and I learn soo much from you even if it's a show I'm watching for the fourth time! And I find myself giggling at how cute the stuff you do is and the things you say. LOL You really are funny. I did want to ask you.. Where do you get your colorants from? Micas, Pigments etc. in those buckets? And is that a 16oz size? and last...What colors/ and type of colorants do you find you utilize the most? Thank You again for all the time and work you put in to all of your shows, and allowing us into your life like you so selflessly do. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!! I wish you ALL the Best life has to offer. You have an amazing imagination Karen I wondered if you could use the spare Soap you had to put aside to make "limited Editions Soaps" if you grated it up... Looking forward to see what you have planned in the future, I could watch you all day long "you have a huge amount of knowledge & a very very "kind down to earth & happy go lucky personality".... Thank you for another Awesome Video, it's been brilliant having you back😇.

Karen, I love the cupcakes! Is the piping the same recipe as the cupcake? I have heard/read that the piping is usually a different recipe. I want to try piping soap (have done cakes/cupckes), but have shied away due to not knowing if I am suppose to make a different batter or not. Absolutely love watching you from Arlington, Texas!
@EdensSecret16 жыл бұрын
Yes, recipe is exactly the same for the topping as the bottom. Nope, no need for a different recipe, just wait till your batter is the consistency of frosting, then pipe away. If you can pipe real frosting, you can do this too.

I finally was able to get cupcake soaps made this week with the tops piped. They all turned out really well. I did discover though my piping bag is not the best for soap as it is very slick. Luckily, I have other piping bags that are not nearly as slick as what I used, so I will use those bags on my next batch.

I love these, so pretty. Question: I've been making cupcake soaps for a while now, I do have great piping skills since I finished pasty arts school and am already artistic. They look beautiful and everyone says they do. Oly problem is, no one buys them! I don't get it. I love them and use them in my on bathroom, they are pretty and functional. I am just not sure how to sell these to people. IDK if you can help with any advice? Thanks if so!
@mcfamily51626 жыл бұрын
CutestHeidi people tend to think they are too awkward to use. I think they are adorable. Just advise them to cut them down the middle and then they have 2 flat pieces of soap to wash with :)

@EdensSecret16 жыл бұрын
Yes, NG USA, delivery is steep, I never understand why USA to UK is so expensive, but it seems that way with most US suppliers. But even with the import duty, it is still cheaper than buying here. US $ converted to £'s Natures garden is only £10 for half a kilo
