Sorry I didn't realise and didn't check, but the Red Hot Cinnamon is not body safe. This will be because it contains real cinnamon essential oil, which can aggravate some people.

RECIPE IN KILO'S:-
900grams Coconut Oil
800grams Palm Oil
1 kilo Olive Oil
1 kilo Sunflower Oil
150g Shea Butter
524 grams Lye (sodium hydroxide)
700 to 1270 grams water (I always use 700grams water, but if you are a beginner, please use full water until you get used to working with the batch, you can deduct by any quantity you like)
fragrance usage at 30g per kilo, please remember that every fragrance will change the speed the soap sets up.
RECIPE IS LB'S and OZ's
Coconut Oil 31.5oz
Olive Oil 35.00oz
Sunflower Oil 35.00oz
Palm Oil . 28.00oz
Shea butter 5.25oz
Lye . 18.34oz
water . 44.47oz
Fragrance usage, at 1oz per kilo
Melt all oils together on very low heat in a large pan.
Mix your lye and water, pouring your lye into the water, not the other way around.
When both oils and water are at room temperature, then you can mix them together and blend.
(I always soap at room temperature)
IF unsure about the actual making of your soap batter, try Soaping101 channel, where you will see the measuring, mixing and blending of the oils & water, which make up the soap batter. etc.

Hi, I've heard you mention in a couple of videos that you're upset with the weight you've put on and can't get off. I thought I might make a suggestion. I've been on the ketogenic diet for 1.5 years now and have lost over 30 lbs (13.6 kg). It's a relatively easy diet (more like a life style) and I didn't even need to exercise! The best part is, I eat when I'm hungry! No more hunger! I hope I didn't overstep here but I just wanted to help if I could :)

Hi Karen, I completely know what you are talking about with PAIN. I have CRPS in both feet/legs and live in chronic pain 24/7 - 365. Watching video's can help distract me from my pain. During 3 months on a particular birth control pill, I gained 30 pounds in 3 months, even though I barely ate anything. It isn't just calories. Proper hormone levels is a major key. Try intermittent fasting, by moving breakfast later and later in the day, and change it to a raw smoothie (easy to make, and deliciously sweet). Also, if you are not happy with yourself now, you won't be happy with yourself later, you'll find something to complain about. Love yourself, who you are inside first, for that is who you truly are. And if you care about you, and your family, you will want to take care of yourself, knowing that they would be so much better off when you feel healthy. Don't worry too much about the exact weight. People here love you for your wonderful soap making ability, and your helpful advice. But, see food as a way of nourishment first.

Hi there, can I just ask are you selling these cupcakes? If so do you have to have a separate certification for each one as they all have different colour and fragrances in them?

Hi Emma, my recipe and certification is for one soap recipe, all my soaps are that same recipe, with many variations and add-ons. So if you are asking for yourself, you would get your recipe certified, then you pay extra for add ons, some may give 6 free in with your certification (I guess this will probably depend on each assessor) It is a lot of years since I got mine done. Before the laws changed You could have as many variations as you wanted and only essential oils were add ons.

EdensSecret1 oh right, it’s just that under the new 2013 EU regulations you need an assessment for each variation and flex assessments are not valid anymore? Maybe I’ve got it wrong but this is what I’ve been told. I have flex assessments from years ago but I’ve been told they’re not valid now and I need to get new assessments done, which makes me kinda sad.

Yes, that's my understanding. Although I don't know for certain. I'lve asked Trading Standards and I'm waiting to hear back. They will find out for me so I can share it. I still can't imagine that every cosmetic product that has ever been made and on the shelves, has to have a NEW certification though. I know I was under the impression that only new to the market recipes after 2013 needed these certs.

Debidobee is right. l could be off, but my daughter was having the same problem, even though her work is very physical. Not only was her food intake all wrong, but her doctor found her Thyroid was not right. She has changed what she needs to eat and taking medicine for her Thyroid. She is sleeping better, lost 10 lbs. and has more energy (something she was always complaining about). So it wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor about it. I am sorry to hear about about your weight gain. You are one of my favorite soap makers. I am on a personal quest as it were. My Dr prescribed Phentermine which I took but only lost 10lbs then gained back 15. In Mexico A Weight Loss specialist put me on Terfamex Mexico's version of Phentermine and I have lost almost 65 pounds since Feb. I drink a lot of water and I will be 55 in November this time last I was nearly 300 now I am 232 less then 100 pounds from goal! Wishing you the best as Always!

Karen: I am new to your channel and this is the first video of yours I have viewed. Question about your cupcakes: Is that isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) you're spritzing on the top of the cupcake portion before adding the topping? Do you ever have a problem with the frosting separating from the bottom cupcake? BTW, I had the worst time after having my gallbladder removed. I developed allergies to certain foods (all fish, shellfish and regular fish) and had to cut out all unnecessary fats because I would have a nasty reaction. It's been a few years and things seem to have calmed down a bit. My weight still vacillates, but cutting out excess fats helped all around. Hopefully, you'll realize some comfort soon. Thank you.

Don’t you have to wait six weeks before you can touch the soap? I thought that cold press soup was poisonous for six weeks.

Growing Gods Kingdom it's soap after 24 hours, but needs 4-6 weeks to cure, so that any excess water evaporates.

It's what is known as "curing" when you make the soap it is full of water, the 6 week thing is simply drying out the soap, when using full water content, it takes longer to dry out and it gets harder. Yes, you can touch it the day after making it. When using a good water discount, then there is less water, so it takes less time to cure, but it still safe to touch the day after making it, as it has gone through it's chemical reaction.

Karen, I can't speak for anyone else but anything that has to do with you I am interested in. Like you said if your caloric intake is below what it should be and your not eating the right kind of food you will still gain. If on the other hand your not doing enough physically which I know gets harder the more weight you put on then you will not lose either. The gall bladder removal should not have caused you to gain weight. There are so many types of diets out there but if you eat a lot of vegetables stay away from greasy foods and stay away from processed foods you should see a decrease. I love watching you soap but I got to say it does bother me when I see ur jugs sitting around with soap still in them you can scrape it into a mold or just a bowl to reuse in a rebatchs or make samples I get angry with myself if I can't save every bit of my soap I find something to do with the it even if it don't fill up a mold I'll poor it in and if I end up with more extra I'll put it in that mold to fill it samples Karen or keep around your house for extra soap
