I like how they started out all spread out, but moved closer until they were a tight jam circle of awesome music.

I've just watched this with a massive grin on my face. Superb. I spent my childhood learning classical violin, if I knew it could be played like this I'd have kept on playing.

Saw these guys up here in Stevenson, WA at the Bluegrass Festival. I'm a serious jazz musician, who fell in love with these guys, Incredible players! Makes me wonder what the difference really is between jazz and bluegrass?

It is called a Resonator or Dobro. Dobro is a name brand itself. Squareneck resonator. You play it with banjo or steel picks and a slide.

Don't pay no attention to the assholes, the stupid (which there are plenty of in this world)....."there's nothing out there. It's stupidity. Stupid people mingling with stupid people. Let them stupidify themselves. I've never been bothered with the need to rush out into the night. I hid in bars, because I didn't want to hide in factories. That's all." - Charles Bukowski. #ownitJERKOFFS

There is actually a correlation between appreciation of very good but "challenging" music and intelligence. Inverse is also true
