Black Sabbath Announce Final Show With BIGGEST Metal Lineup Ever

Rock legends Black Sabbath have announced one final show, set to take place in their hometown of Birmingham on July 05 at Villa Park Stadium. The original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will perform together for the first time in 20 years at the show, entitled ‘Back To The Beginning’.
Sabbath will be joined by a truly incredible lineup of special guests, with sets from Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon. Additionally, the all-day event will also feature a supergroup of musicians. Artists announced so far include Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan (Guns ‘N’ Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Slash, Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde.

Black Sabbath is so legendary they brought back retired artist for their farewell show. The lineup is made up of really good bands but I don't think it's a good lineup, some of these bands are quite different from each other. Also, I'm really curious, even those additional artists get 40 thousand people at their solo concert, why did they choose such a small place? Would love to go if I could.

Can someone explain to me why Anthrax has such a legendary status? I really don't get it. I am sure back in the thrash days as one of the first bands it was a big deal, but what have they released in this century that was relevant? I remember Stomp 442 and that was a waste of ten bucks.

I'll be very surprised if this actually happens, Ozzy has cancelled so many gigs before and he's older now, health not too good, plus, it must be some size of a stage for the amount of guests who are supposedly jumping on this particular bandwagon. Don't misunderstand, I love Sabbath, seen them many times, and the only Sabbath are these four guys, just don't hold your breath for this one.

I’ve still got tickets for Ozzy and Judas Priest from 2019 and he cancelled the show, But now Ozzy is performing! He should be performing the gigs he cancelled and show his fans who supported him some respect. Ozzy’s fans made him and put him where he is, he’d be nothing without his fans.
