Who couldn’t be happy about the greatest band that ever walked the face of the earth? Tony Iommi, along with Hendrix, is the most influential rock musician of the 20th century in my opinion, and I’m excited to put more lessons on his playing out in 2022. Thanks for watching dude, have a happy new year!

Because of you I have been looking into the history of rock and really starting loving Rush. coheed and Cambria seem to be influenced by them a lot. If you could do a Rush cover that would be great 😊

BRO!! You have such an incredible and unique way of explaining things, like _“colors the note”_ and other phrasing that you use - this video alone shows that you have such a genuine passion for music, with truly remarkable skill and ear - that you are able to explain things with such passion and joy all of the components of a lick, how it comes together, and importantly - *what makes it so great!* Any student with an interest in music and guitar would benefit invaluably by having you as an instructor. I love Sabbath, Tony Iommi is absolutely top five for me, but I regret that this song has never really taken me, until I watched this video driving home - I have so much more of an appreciation for this song and the _genius_ behind Iommi’s licks here; I believe he would be proud and truly honored by your dissection and appreciation of this song. I imagine that he, in England, was just so taken by similar blues licks that had never really been heard or much exposed to the world back in his time, and I can see him just dissecting all of these same weird little components that make up these sick ass blues licks. I don’t know what else to say except you are fkg rad, you deserve much more exposure. I do the same thing, make videos for others because I’m just basically talking to myself and it’s a type of therapy, the difference is that you post your stuff and are contributing to the world in a positive way. I’m still trying to find my contributions; and it came from wanting to learn how to break down Dave Matthews’ “you might die trying” where I came across your video about an hour ago. Thank you for your efforts, stay bad ass and don’t lose sight of what you were doing here, or ever think that it is wasted effort - when you are in front of the camera explaining this and that, you are speaking to a wide, and also very niche audience, but across both time and space - someone may not come across your video for years, but oddly you’re still speaking to them, and your distinctive voice, and unique understanding and manner of explanation of technique will reach them. Same as that “Aha!” moment when Iommi discovered that cool blues backslide that _”colors the note” that you felt when you discovered it - and to consider the first blues musicians, who started doing this, that “aha” moment honors them and their _genius_ even though they have probably long since passed on. Music is the language of emotion, and many say of _the Soul_ itself. Just as mathematics is the language of the universe. So keep speaking and explaining, and hell yea bro I wish I had the day off to go thru moar of yr vids, what you have is a gold mine.

if this music came out today it is still quite advanced for this time for me black sabbath, led zeppelin and pink floyd they are aliens but they are not aware of that, I compare It's like when you haven't seen yourself in the mirror for a long period and when you do it you look a little weird that happens with them
