Bill has a style all his own and is a "one and only" the fact that the band said their last goodbyes without him is just wrong on so many levels, he should have been a part of the farewell tour and no true sabbath fan will ever be alright with the fact that "he wasnt"✌🏼️

@@aschule5684 he can't drum anymore like he use to, that's why he wasn't part of the farewell tour. That type of drumming takes out a lot of energy especially for his age now and with everything he's been through. He also hasn't aged very well either. It sucks ik, but he can't last through an entire show let alone a tour. The fact that they even did a final reunion is a miracle all in itself

Unfortunately, that was the norm on most of Sabbath's live material available during the 70s . The bass sounded like crap which is a shame a I really enjoy Butler's way of playing. Past lives is the same thing, I don't know if it was poorly recorded it the way Geezer set us his bass or what but the best years of Sabbath have the worst bass sound live. At least is my personal opinion based of the material available.

Agreed, I actually like a few of the Dio records too but it just doesn't feel like Sabbath without Ozzy. I've always said they should have renamed the band when Ozzy left

I saw them on this tour, my first concert ever, 3rd row. What an experience! Too bad the sound here is nothing like the real thing. Try to imagine this loud, full bass and treble, all around you, with sweet leaf filling the air. It hit several senses, and you *felt* the music.

I saw them in Chicago on this tour in '78 and agree that the sound was better in person than in this video. I will add that this was the tour where supposedly ,Van Halen blew Sabbath away as opening act,but not in Chicago at the show I saw. There was no mistaking who the crowd was there for.

@@brucefranklin6295 I too saw them on the '78 tour (Never Say Die) with Van Halen. In Houston, once again. I remember both bands being good, but yeah, most were there for Sabbath, and the kings stilled ruled the court.

I was 12 and had bought the "Mater of Reality" vynil from a thrift store for .25 cents. I put it on the turntable and "Sweet Leaf" started and I thought the cough at the beginning was a skip. I was pretty uset but later realized it was coughing. Great album..Children of the Grave was my favorite.
