+maddog76 Vinnie Appice and Cozy Powell were solid, man. Eternal Idol with Eric Singer on drums is also a damn good listen, even if it don't give you the sabby feelsies. Lineup changes happen and surprisingly bad and good things can come of it. But all that aside, Bill Ward should be given what he is asking for. I will wear a Bill Sabbath shirt for life haha.

I met bill in 97 at a signing and he was very down-to-earth he just had a heart attack and one of the things that he needed to go on tour was to have a nutritionalist / Chef with him in order to keep him on a diet to help his health. - looks like he lost a lot of weight and he's looking fresh now... Very nice man ... fantastic drummer !

@@markdemoreuille4451 IMO probably the most musical drummer I'ver ever heard. Every lick/note he plays seems to be there for a specific complementary reason - it just fits in well with whatever Tony or Geezer are playing. Ferocious and aggressive when the mood calls for it, subtle yet necessary at the other moments. Severely underrated in the rock world. His drumming actually tells a story within the song, not just thrashing or keeping time.

Here's hoping they work things out with Bill and get him on board for the final album, though I'm not exactly confident it will happen. However, Bill appearing publicly with Tony and Geezer seems like a good first step, even though Bill has always stated he hasn't had any problems with them, just Ozzy and whoever negotiates the contracts. Speaking of Ozzy, I have no idea why he'd be so willing to throw away a near 50 year friendship rather than admit he was wrong about Bill's playing fitness. Also, regarding the whole erasing Bill from the band's history thing, he recently stated in an interview that the powers that be twisted his words; from that he only be removed from promotions for a series of gigs Sabbath was already booked for before his contract was fully negotiated, into removing him from pretty much everything. You can about imagine why Accountable Beasts is so dark sounding.

Yeah, when they mention Bill's status in the band & whatnot, you can tell that they all three know that the problem lies with Ozzy & Sharon. Bill, Tony & Geezer seem on the same page and agree among themselves about the issue. There's no negativity or disagreements among the three of them.

Beer Hill , i just read an interview posted on Facebook from Tony that said , quote from tony himself " I don't know why bill's not in the fucking band & i regret it's because of leaving it to our (the band's) management team." So , finally we have some truth from tony about the shit with Bill . i say tony & geezer & ozzy are responsible partially because they didn't speak the fuck up about it then. NO BALLS! I mean they pay the bills and supposed to be in charge, not a bunch of money hungry cocksuckers on a shit management team. what a huge let down !

Bill Ward was/is the more intellectual member of Black Sabbath... The other blokes will always raz on him and take the piss every time he says something smart. But what he says is meaningful and %100 spot on... He is the only member that has fully acknowledged their responsibility for the heavy netal genre. The rest of them jusy blow it off. Saying things like "we considered and still do consider it hard rock".. Butler acknowledges the genre and praises it as brilliant. Billl ward is one of, if not the, most iconic drummer in heavy metal history. Not enough has been said about him.

Does anyone know what the conditions Bill alluded to as what it would take to get him in the fold again? I know this quite a few years ago. Just curious to what those conditions were. Cheers 🍻🤘🎸

Just retire. Old people rest on their laurels and receive stupid awards from people who only give a shit after the fact. Seriously - rock is a young person's game and the way you guys switch from Dio to Ozzy and this drummer or that, is a bit irreverent in my opinion.

***** Damn right they can do what they want. Geezer still rocks the bass 50 years later. Had it not been for Sabbath, metal would a whole lot different. As far line up changes go, Ozzy was seriously fucked up towards the end of his time with Sabbath. They almost broke up. Dio saved them if you asked me. Tony and Geezer were the only originals at one time. Sabbath is the foundation of metal. This is all they know, and they still do it better than any of these newer bands

@@ratdogjams350 Technical ecstasy was great, give it another chance; many great songs on it. Never say die, also had two great songs on it. However the 13 album did not have any good songs on it. The only good thing about it was marketing.
