Remove battery Hold power button for 30 seconds Reconnect battery Connect ac adapter Press power button Keeping pressing f1 & f2 After 10 seconds press Win + Ctrl + shift + b + power button & hold for one second (you can do this multiple times if nothing happens) The power indicator light should turn off & on a bunch of times then the logo will appear

I also do the same method but instead of holding power button I press power button just one to two times. I reconnect the battery connector and I think this resets the BIOS. For me this happens only when I leave my laptop on in Ubuntu for a long time. This doesn't happen while working on it.

So i removed this problem pernametly by reinstalling windows 10, and it is key step to install uefi windows 10 and not legacy. First time you need to get picture by fix in this video and then clean install win 10 uefi

I got the screen replaced on 30th Oct 2024, the new screen barely worked for 2 weeks and started flickering again, a week from that point, the display shows up in the top 5% of area, rest is black. Now going to get the screen replaced a 3rd time tomorrow; if that doesn't work, I'll burn this piece of crap.

Update. I have replaced the keyboard as per advice of service centre 3 months ago. My lap is fine till now. So thankful that I got it fixed for RS 7000. I was frustrated enough to throw away my lap.

@@xnxaxx2963 Open the SSD panel, you'll find a little foam sticking on it to press a button. Fold a piece of paper and put it in the slot between foam and the switch/button. Shut the panel. And forget it.

@@hardeepsaini8725 do you have a Predator Helios 300? Mine is 2020 version, Rtx 2060, 16gb one. It started as I guess when I my screen froze while i was swapping tabs during Rocket league gameplay. So I had to force shut down. Then this problem started and now What should I do? After using system for a while and force shutting down when screen goes black, now i the system doesn't boot itself.. when i press power button, keyboard light and power light turns on for 4 seconds and then goes dead. (Battery is full)

Hey man.this fix worked for me for a couple of months. Now the laptop is not powering on. I have visited the service centre.Ther are saying it is an issue with the power button and asked me to replace the keyboard altogether.Did anyone actually found the real problem behind this issue.

Your powering on thing has *nothing* to do with the black screen issue. I replaced my keyboard myself years ago because the spacebar or whatever it was, I don't remember, was no good, but just thought I'd mention it and the issue here was of course unaffected. This BSODCBAA issue, as I'll just now name it (Black Screen Of Death of the Chance of me ever Buying an Acer Computer Again", 🤪is also unrelated to the screen itself since an external monitor via HDMI makes no difference. It is a sleep issue so I removed that option from everywhere and use hibernation instead. That's the best I can come up with right now because I may have found the reason 1-2 years ago and forgotten, but I will have to look into it again because I'm getting this occasionally now. I'll start going through every conceivable bit that has to do with sleep incl. advanced settings in the powerplans.

Hey man, so I pulled out my RAM to check their branding and proceeded to clean the ram slots. I put the RAM stick back on and went to turn on my laptop but it simply had the backlight turning off and on unstoppably with the screen black. Then I reopened the RAM slot and switched the RAMs (I switched them only after trying them back in their original states multiple times to no avail) but now my laptop shows a black screen with the keyboard backlight switched on...:/ I have tried your methods but they aren't helping.

Try this, 1) remove battery , press power button for 30 sec 2) attach battery again, press power button, then keep pressing f1 and f2 irrespective of whether u see predator logo or not... Ur lapi will bootup

I tried HYP3R’s solution & it worked, and took me to the BIOS. However, I tried this with one of my RAM sticks taken out. When I tried again with both RAM sticks, back to nothing.

To those who have had this problem through 2023 to 2024, with any version of the Predator Helios 300. This comment will be your only hope, as I fixed mine through finding any clues to why and how it broke. This problem, apparently occurs, in theory, if you tamper with your RAM, or battery. I have no other instances where I had this problem, except for the times I have tampered with RAM, and battery. In order to solve the problem you are facing, if you have tampered with your battery, do this video's way, but if you tampered with RAM, just like me, I suggest you start opening your laptop, and detach your battery, and reinsert your RAM, properly. Attach the battery again, and pray to God, it works. If not, it is up to you, to piece out the clues you have found, and find a solution. In my own experience, having computer problems are tests, for you to solve, in other words, it is a puzzle, that sometimes, need your intelligence, and basic skills, to be able to be pieced together. Last but not least, do not ever, ever, do the same mistake again. It will signify you growing your knowledge about this path.

I got this same problem. But the steps didnt do anything. but try the steps in video and also try mine. Remove the battery. Remove the Storage of where the os is Located. Place again the storage Plug in the battery. If this steps dont work. I hope you find a better solution.
