After seeing the new Mandalorian episode I really wanna see the repainted version of his helmet. Looks so much more badass being fresh. I thought Djins armour is the best I've seen of any mandalorian until I saw Boba's cleaned up..

You're right! The Mandalorian Mercs costume club requires the helmets to obscure all features. I don't think this helmet would be allowed without modifying the visor.

Nice piece to put on display. I had the same problem with the harness. Great attention to detail but was really disappointed with no sound effects. Darth Vader had 2 different breathing sounds and the mask sealing sound and Lukes helmet had snow speeder and Xwing options for sounds.

The internal head harness is removable.. I did that and used the white foam in the box to fill the voids around my head while wearing it. Woks great that way . I found the harness to tight at any level of adjustment.

i used to go to Joe’s crab shack with my parents when i was growing up and there was a boba fett helmet next to a freaking shark hanging from the wall! that was my favorite seat lol i always asked my mom if we could sit there!

You need to adjust the straps to where it sits lower, so that the helmet falls into place better

@@kylethedalek They do. Just picked up two, (one's a gift) Vader helmets on Amazon for $99. The stormtrooper one is sitting at $250. I won't be touching that. I actually have a stormtrooper helmet pulled from the molds of the original 1977 film, so, on that front I'm good :) But Vader has gone down in price, but the stormtrooper is now incredibly expensive.

I just bought the Boba Fett prototype helmet and had difficulty seeing out the top too. I had to take the head straps completely out (they snap out) and if you wear a beanie it fits perfectly to see out!

I recently got the prototype fett helmet and yeah, I have the same issue with the webbing inside of it. I found that if you detach the over the top strap it will sit properly so you can see through the visor, but there's still the problem with the adjustment nob being so damn uncomfortable and presses at the perfect spot on the back of my head to give me a serious headache.

Heres a tip, i have a mandalorian helmet and what i do is drop my glasses in the helmet and angle my glasses in a way i can put my helmet on and then adjust the glasses after the helmet is on. Keep in mind i wear extremely curved glasses when i wear these kind of things.

First one I ever bought was the regular stormtrooper and I almost immediately took out the straps and replaced it with some helmet liner from FENIXPROPS. Depending on how this one fits me I might do the same thing, although I love the detail on the inside

The helmet would probably benefit from the addition of military kevlar helmet liner padding for a more comfortable fit.

Pro-tip from someone with an extra large head that wears glasses and wears a Mandalorian helmet semi-regularly, you'll want to either cant the helmet just a little to the side so that you're looking out the side of the visor. Usually gives you a little more flat space to fit your glasses through. If that doesn't work, put your glasses in the helmet by the visor and as you're putting the helmet on slowly, reach up the sides and work them onto your face. Its a pain in the butt, but it lets you see. As for fogging up, I personally use some anti-fog spray meant for motorcycle helmets that I forget where I picked up, but works well enough. Otherwise, apparently rubbing a bar of soap lightly along the inside of the visor or glasses helps prevent fog buildup. I've also been told toothpaste works similarly, but I'm not that brave to try that. You really just want a light film of waterphobic substance that will prevent moisture from building up.

One of the things I am wondering is how does it fit compared to the stormtrooper helmet? I have a huge head and I have been working on creating a Mando costume. So I am actually looking at the prototype helmet they are putting out later this year. I feel that the trooper helmets don't fit my head well. Is this one bigger or about the same?
